Kitty Mcqueen While traveling we wanted to support local businesses instead of chains so we chose Pops BBQ for this stop. Its a quiet place in a small town just a few miles from the interstate. The service was fast and friendly. The chairs were sturdy and comfortable. The one server was running the whole front of house and doing a great job. The fried okra, onion rings and fries were plentiful and fried to perfection. The burger was juicy, flavorful and grilled exactly the way I wanted. The diced BBQ was flavorful and juicy. The potato salad is southern style with good flavor and consistency. The parking lot is easy to enter and exit in a personal sized vehicle. Parking a large RV or trailer might be a bit difficult depending on how busy they are. There was a small surcharge when we used our card instead of paying cash but it literally covered the transaction fee, which is money not staying in the local community so we didnt mind. Well stop here again if we get the chance to.

Lealand Tisdale This is some of the best bbq in the entire region. Their house made bbq sauce is delicious. All the meat was tender, especially the ribs. It was a very clean establishment, nice music playing. Chris was a very nice & attentive host. All around great experience.

Texas_Nomad I had a delicious breakfast with excellent service aa well. I ordered some good to go. The food was still delicious reheated. I had the liver and onions with mashed potatoes and steamed carrots. Very reasonably priced.

Not only was the food delicious, it was also creative and beautiful and tied in perfectly with the theme of our party! I would recommend them for any event! Couldn’t have done it without Sarah!
