Historic Red Rooster Inn - (Near Hillsboro, IL)

3 /5 Kimberly: The newly, renovated inn is absolutely beautiful. We can not say enough about the beauty and service. Unfortunately, our room was not very sound-proof. We were next to the side door and unfortunately anyone who entered or exit allowed the door to slam. Maybe a soft close on the door? Since the floors are all wood, we heard every footstep and anyone talking in the halls echoed. We would definitely try again, maybe a second floor room.

5 /5 Sara Short: My husband and I stayed there last night. The place is beautiful!! The thought they put into all of all the details...I have never seen before. Not huge, but snacks, ear plugs, face masks, great smelling lotion, shampoo and conditioner???? I can tell they care about your experience there. I agree with a previous review, it was so quiet! I was able to get such a good night sleep. We stayed because we were meeting with family, but I would come back just to stay there and visit that cute town again!!

3 /5 Kimberly Herman: The Historic Red Rooster Inn renovation is absolutely beautiful, clean, and the service was great. We are giving only 3 stars overall due to the sounds weve experienced during our stay. The rooms are not sound-proof. Our room was on the first floor, near the side entrance/exit. We heard every footstep down the hall, the side door slammed every time someone entered or exited. Later in the evening, there were a few people in the hallway who were talking and it was very loud. Masks and ear plugs are provided, however, when the door slams, everything vibrated. We would definitely try again and request a difference room location.

5 /5 Mary Ann Rademacher: It was a beautiful experience to spend 4 nights in the totally renovated Red Rooster Inn. The historic charm is wonderful. Historic accuracy is seen in all details while ensuring security and comfort for the guests. We will look forward to a return visit. .

5 /5 Susan Tithof: We were traveling I. A snow storm and decided this was a good location. The Red Rooster was beautiful and the staff were awesome! We would definitely stay here again!
