Imperial Palace - (Near Freeport, IL)

Irene Kittycat Spent a fun Columbus day weekend at Springfield and stopped in for their early bird dinner and it was fantastic! Took them a bit for service but it was great so we didnt mind waiting. Decorations were so cute and at 5:30pm, they were already packed with a long line out the door! We ordered the oyster appetizers, chicken Monterey, Cod Dejonghe and baked stuffed shrimp and it was all so so delicious. Came with this sweet butter roll that melts in your mouth. One of the best seafood we had in a while. Expect long wait but oh so worth it! Yum!

Deasy Pasaribu We visited during dinner time and theres no line for table. Theres self-order kiosk for easy ordering. We ordered several dishes including the Bok-choy with fresh garlic, The signature crispy tofu (my favorite), Fried fish fillet, and Sesame chicken. Rice included for some dishes we ordered, which was convenient. Our food arrived quickly, so we didn’t have to wait long at all. The atmosphere was quite calm and easy to talk. The restroom was relatively clean. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with friends.

Chris Diddit This place is really nice and always busy… for a reason! There is a good vibe, plenty of seating and great customer service. I ordered take out and it came with all the fixins. 3 Tacos: Mexican Style 1 Shrimp 1 Pastor 1 Chorizo Beans and Rice Salsa and Chips w/ Verde I totally recommend this spot and I’ll surely be back!

Theodore Lueker First time at a cracker barrel. I had the sampler. Meatloaf, fried chicken, some kind of turkey mush pie, mashed potatoes w white gravy, coleslaw, and cornbread muffins. Meatloaf was very tasty. Fried chicken was crispy and moist. The turkey pie i was not a fan of it tasted good but I dont like wushy crust. Potatoes and gravy spot on. Coleslaw crisp with great taste. All in all it was great. A lot of food for the price. Nice staff and i got my food very fast. Hard chairs bring a pillow.

Barb Sigel Richardson’s Downtown Sports Bar and Grill – A True Hometown Gem From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and quick, friendly service. The atmosphere at Richardson’s is exactly what you want in a hometown sports bar. I’m a sucker for a great sports bar and a solid smash burger, and here I found both. The food was excellent, the drinks were perfectly made, and the owners were actually out mingling with guests, something you don’t see often anymore. It gave the whole experience a personal, community feel. The outdoor seating is a huge bonus, especially on nice evenings. Between the great food, welcoming staff, and relaxed vibe, Richardson’s Downtown Sports Bar and Grill has easily earned a spot on my regular rotation.

Danielle Kneer Im such a huge fan, love the food, the service is amazing always friendly and helpful. They deliver to my home which few places do so thats a big plus. Also, for the last four years, we have made a tradition of rosatis lasagna for the family on Christmas. The convenience and quality cannot be beat.
