Gilbert Donna (Mrs G) 8/6/23 The service was outstanding, our waitress was amazing. Very cheerful and friendly. The establishment was very neat and clean. There is plenty of seating available. The food was absolutely delicious, we decided on hamburgers. I had regular french fries and my husband chose the seasoned fries. The burgers are a ½ pound of deliciousness. The fries were perfectly cooked. This was the first place since moving to Southern IL that had Boudin Balls as an appetizer. They were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Tender on the inside with a light crispiness on the outside. Looking forward to having more of the Boudin Balls and trying other items on their menu. Noticed that they offer fresh pork rinds, we saw a couple plates go by, they looked absolutely amazing and the portions were large. UPDATE: 8/31/23 Went on a Thursday to try their .55¢ wings, I had the Bourbon wings. Very nice sized wings. They have a nice selection of different flavors.

Logan Oltman The life of the party is at El Jimador. The atmosphere is great! The food never disappoints. The drinks are amazing. When I want to go out and have a quality Mexican style meal. This is my go to. Only issue I’ve ever had is service could be better. Sometimes it takes a little too long to get your server to come back to your table. Especially when they are packed and when the drinks are flowing. It’s sometimes annoying. But besides that. Hard to beat the food and atmosphere alone. Prepare to spend though as it is by far not the cheapest option but, you get what you pay for.

Rage Thomas Top notch happy hour. I went on a relatively quiet Monday night. I ordered everything on their happy hour menu and it came out to about 50 bucks with drinks. Our service was pretty solid but it also wasnt that busy. The bar was mostly full but got lucky as people left right as we arrived. My only negative criticism is the goat cheese pincho. Its truly intense and you better really like goat cheese. However its all mostly positive. The aiolis all delicious, the devilled egg is solid, sangria is delicious, and everything had a interesting and delicious flavor.

C J Stopped by with my mom for a late lunch after running some errands. Small number of people. Food looked and seem fresh with many options. I would definitely stop by again if in the aream

Daniel Williams Brian and Janine and the rest of the staff warmed me with a warm welcome as soon as I entered the restaurant. They helped this hungry traveler find all the best personal selections. The food was awesome. The smiles and desert at the end was a bonus that I didn’t expect. I will definitely come back when I visit again.
