Steven Twixer I got the ribeye done medium rare and it was very good! I got a side of loaded potato too and had a side salad. For the price I feel like it was decent value and would recommend to others.

Rachel Marie This is a terrific location! The food is hot and fresh, the restaurant (what we saw of it from the drive through) is clean and well maintained, and the young lady who took our order and Jahari at the window were both very helpful and friendly. Service was very quick as well. Definitely will come back here!

Caleigh Bruce Our whole team walked in and they were so nice and fast at getting all of the orders. They may have been overwhelmed but they didnt show it. They were great!!!

Christina Wilburn My husband, son and I went to visit my daughter at college in Charleston, Illinois. We were getting ready to head back to Edwardsville, Illinois and begrudgingly stopped at Steak and Shake in Mattoon, Illinois. I say begrudgingly because since they have changed to pretty much self service, everything has gone downhill in our area. The service is horrible, the places are usually dirty and we just stopped going. When we entered this store, it was busy but the place was cleaner than ever. As soon as someone was leaving someone else was cleaning the table. They were short staffed yet the manager was out dropping food off to people so they didnt have to go and get it. The food was excellent. I do wish you guys had booster seats but he, not a big deal. I was extremely impressed with this restaurant and let the manager know as well. Will definitely be going back when visiting.

David Bouwkamp Stopped for dinner while driving on I-80. Service was prompt and friendly with frequent checkups. Our food was tasty, prices were reasonable, and the restaurant is very clean. Its quiet and easy to talk.

Julianna Rathmell The food was phenomenal! Typical diner with huge portions. With a lot of restaurants, especially breakfast, I feel like I could make something better at home. Not here. The food was better than mine! I tried to not get more than I could eat when I ordered due to being in town for an event and not being able to store it but then they proceeded to bring out a massive biscuit the size of a small child and a 2 inch thick chunk of ham. The German potatoes were delicious, and the egg was perfect. Kudos to the chef! I cant wait to come back again and eat here!
