5 /5 Tim McNinch: BEST HAMBURGER IN AGES! The Pub has changed hands since we were last here. I must say it is a nice improvement. New decor, flooring, much brighter lighting and it is a clean atmosphere. We were welcomed immediately as we entered and sat at a table. The Pub was hopping at 6:30pm with only two side wall tables and the main table in front available. By the time we left, all seating was taken. Live music was setting up for later. We ordered quickly, which is good management practice to turn the tables, but never felt rushed. I ordered a slight variation to what was on the menu suggestion and our waitress was happy to oblige. 1/3 pound cheeseburger with bacon and grilled onions on a brioche bun. 4 cheese options from which to choose. It came with thick french fries, dome perfectly. It was All amazing. My wife even remarked the same, which she rarely does. It was the best hamburger I have had in ages. I highly recommend giving this Pub a visit in Mt. Carroll, illinois. A beautiful little town, beautiful scenery and autumn leaves were at their height.

5 /5 Will Jackson: The burgers were great, although the fried pickles are where its really at- a must try! I also appreciate how late they are open, especially when most places in town close down fairly early.

5 /5 sally douglas: We both had the flight of 3 soups and a grilled cheese sandwich. Loved all the soups but chicken dumpling was the front runner. Free brownie with dinner was scrumptious. Very clean and great service.
