Cookies Restaurant - Minooka

Suzanne S Had the Fried Chicken dinner. Chicken amazing, mashed potatoes delicious. Green beans need some flavor. My hubby had the Filet, it was yummy. Twice baked needs a little help, a tiny bit on the dry side. Chicken noodle soup awesome. Cream of broccoli was great too. The pineapple cheesecake. Outstanding. The restaurant is outdated but that makes them. Bloody Marys are a MUST

The Village - Chicago

Jen Schaefer They squeezed the 2 of us in even though no reservations were available. Both the meatballs and meat sauce are pork free, so we had lots of options on the menu! Would highly recommend the lasagna. The chicken parmesan was also delicious. Soup or salad is complimentary with your entree. Id recommend the minestrone over the chicken broth. Tiramisu was a great end to the meal. Well definitely be back!

d figueroa Food was good, we had a group of 3. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the cashier was nice, very helpful with the ordering process and suggestions, they were good about clearing off our table of trays once done with food. Very clean. Love the new location much better, plenty of space, much bigger, cafeteria style. Brisket and ribs were good, than dipped in the different sauces it was bomb. I love corn bread and that cornbread muffin was awesome. Mac & cheese is usually off the chain but this time around it was okay probably cause we came in close to closing time, the mash potatoes were great, wasnt crazy about the coleslaw but again it was probably because it was close to closing. Well worth the price, you get a healthy amount of food, you wont leave hungry and will actually leave with left overs.. lol We will most definitely return.

Shakerag Bar & Grill - Mulberry Grove

Rating: 4.3 /5
Dave B Clean, quaint and full of locals so the food must be good. I can only comment on the chili and it was good. Friendly atmosphere and just a short distance off the interstate. A pleasant alternative to the usual roadway fast food options. Subsequent visit updates: Prompt and friendly service, good burger, great tenderloin sandwich, salads are basic iceberg and simple toppings . Wings might be smoked in advance but dropped in the deep fryer to heat them up and ours were overcooked and dry on this visit but the sauce was good and helped make them edible. Definitely above average for bar food and we will continue to patronize but don’t expect white a tablecloth or candles. Always a Daily special like meatloaf, burger specials, livers and gizzards or stroganoff that seems to be popular with the locals. Family friendly and welcoming. When traveling 70 through Illinois this is still a better option than the fast food and gas station food that awaits you down the road. Stop in and give them a try. New menu has a great selection of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. Menu photos updated 7/25.

Douglas Solano I have visited countless BWW locations over the years but this one in particular went beyond positive, I have noticed that usually this smaller size location provides better customer service. Emily did a great job and I had a great time even staying longer than I was expecting.
