Oishi Hibachi Express - (Near Dixon, IL)

Kathryn Lawson We held a baby shower in their beautiful new event space. Very bright and airy, with its own bar, restrooms, and windows on three sides, our guests had plenty of room to mingle and spread out. We opted for a buffet vs plated, and the food was amazing- clearly freshly prepared and nicely set up. We had our own server and bartender- they were both very efficient and attentive. While the space was very festive and Christmassy on its own, we wanted to add our own touches, and were given lots of time before our guests arrived to make this happen. Highly recommend this for your next private party!

Gypsy-Travel M We really enjoyed our Wednesday wings and birthday celebration. Emma was delightful and patient serving us. She promoted Craigs special appetizer dish and it was delicious. We had reservations for the holiday decorated room but we had to move inside. The entertainment was good but it was just too loud to be able to talk and we had a 11-month-old tired boy. A fiddler or a violinist or pianist would have been nice. Or even the guitar without the speakers. The bar area did have a clubhouse type atmosphere. Will definitely be going there again and spreading the word ❣️

Anusha Great food honestly everyone loved their dishes for the most part! The cheese curds were the best cheese curds I’ve had in my life and I am usually NOT a cheese curds person. The cornbread was on the drier side however and extremely crumbly. I will say perhaps the prices are a smidge too high? food itself was great. Me and one other person got full just sharing the cheese curds so there’s definitely enough of the portion; environment is quaint and dimly lit with some fun art and colors around. Their menu is diverse and there are gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options as well. I would say all the dishes are shareable so because of that the price per head is pretty reasonable

Marlboro Marty Of course this is an expensive restaurant. But I figured since the casino was nice enough to allow trucks to park in their parking lot, I should at least patronize their restaurant. I was going to order steak, but cheaped out and ordered pasta. I was amazed how good it was. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection. The sauce was unique but excellent. I wish there was more pasta, but it was enough. If they can cook chicken like that, I imagine their steaks are amazing.

Brian Camp Let me just say why, as soon as you walk in? Youre indulged in elegance. The staff is extremely friendly. Theyre very knowledgeable about their dishes and drinks. Drinks was a smoked glass of Rye and Espresso mixed drink. For the Entrée I ordered the seared Halibut, served over a bed of coosgoos, sun-dried tomatoes, and sautéed asparagus. The wife had the seafood spaghetti with squid ink noodles. Both dishes were absolutely Devine. Our server went above and beyond he was absolutely amazing.
