Mark Monge We showed up unannounced today with about 15+ people on a bike ride and the staff welcomed us with open arms and a smile. When they asked if it would be separate checks or one, I sheepishly said “separate” -knowing what a headache that is-and they said “perfect! No problem-so happy you all came into today” -great food, great service-great price-what more could you ask for?

James Anderson, CFRE I can’t remember the last time, if ever, I gave a “fast food” restaurant 5 stars. But their team deserves it. They were fast, friendly and efficient. But they earned 5 stars for being generous with the extra crispies and by providing enough lemon and malt vinegar packets. Some places try to be cheap/stingy when you ask for extras like this. That destroys loyalty. Being generous earns loyalty. Thank you. I’ll see you the next time I’m back in town.

Lindsay Niemerg My husband and I were very impressed with the food quality and pricing for this restaurant. Normally if the prices are low the quality and service are the best, but not the case here. Adults meals were around $10 and kids less than $5. And everything we tried was delicious. The servers were wonderful too. I would go back here again if we were ever in the area.

Bobbie Mcmanus BJs garden inn is a really great restaurant to have a hot home cooked meal. The servers are so polite and attentive. The cooks did great on my grilled chicken sandwich it was literally perfect. Although Im disappointed its no longer a buffet but Im delighted its still the best chicken place in duquoin.. best chicken in perry county.

LaJaus Haüs One thing we love to do as southerners is try East and west BBQ. This restaurant is a local BBQ spot located near the downtown area of Decatur, IL. This establishment offers a wide range of BBQ to choose from. On a Sunday after 1 p.m we decided to have the pulled beef sandwich, and beef ribs. Unfortunately, Beef wasnt available so we were accommodated with a replacement of pull pork and ribs. The house sauce on the Que was tasty. Our kids really enjoyed it as well. We plan to come back to try out the beef and sweets! We recommend visiting this establishment when its the busiest. Which we belive would be a Saturday afternoon? Overall this was a great place to exprience. Its local owned and operated! As well as Black Owned*

Proud Mom My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful time here. Food and service is great and Candice, our waiter, was super friendly. We sat in the vault to get the full experience. The atmosphere is very relaxing and did I mention the food is tasty! We will return! Thank you for an amazing experience! The Drue Family
