Wayne Moran One of our favorite places in the Effingham area. Always great service, and the food is tremendous. The Hibachi grill area is really fun, and the regular seating is great if youre not in a group. The food is AWESOME. Fantastic sushi as well. Highly recommend.

Pat Pikesh We had car trouble coming from Fla stayed over night while the car was fixed. Hotel was wonderful, very clean, more than accomodating , allowed us to keep the room till afternoon when the car was ready. The resturant was very good for breakfast, Abigail was very nice and great service. Would stay there again. Thank you holidaymotel and resturant.

Michael G The food was delicious. I felt it came out pretty quick. It was all together, it was all hot, and nobody had any complaints. The service was great. We got checked up on frequently and received refills when the drinks were low. We didnt have to wait for her for anything and she seemed to have all of our answers. Atmosphere was what youd expect in a pub dinner. Bar area, couple TVs playing football, everything was nice and clean, shiney , not to crowded. Really enjoyable experience. I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for that type of experience.

Michelle Foy Moontime Smokin Que is a hidden gem of a place in my opinion. It’s located right next to the Crystal Lake train station on the side street. We tried a couple items which were all very good. For starters smoked chicken wings were very flavorful! Even for health conscious people, they are smoked not fried. We also had a bowl of thier chicken chowder whereby the chicken pieces were smoked and gave a unique flavor to the soup. The corn muffins were ok but could be better. The beef brisket we ordered by the pound was full of flavor. They smoke all the meats on site and boy are they good. We like that they asked which cut of meat we would like; lean, fatty or mixed. I think it’s good to try both your first time. We tried both and both were very satisfying. The coleslaw was very good too. It was fresh and a nice change up being a mixed flavor of sweet & tangy. They offer several inhouse made sauces including a new one that is spicy sriracha. It complimented everything really nicely. We would have loved to have tried desert but we didn’t have room and took some of the leftovers home. If you’re looking for really good traditional smoked bbq and can’t get to Texas then this IS the place!!

LoneRanger I recently had a great dining experience at Nobel House and wanted to share my thoughts. We started with the chicken tortilla soup, which was absolutely delicious. It was full of flavor, and while it was $14, it was definitely worth it for how tasty it was. For the main course, I had the brisket skillet, and wow—the portion size was incredible. The skillet came with huge chunks of burnt ends brisket—tons of meat. I was initially skeptical about the $19 price, but when the dish arrived, I felt like I was getting a bargain. The amount of brisket they put on that skillet was impressive. I also ordered a side of breakfast sausage patties for $5, and they gave me three large patties. Another great value for the portion size. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and overall, I was super happy with the food and the experience. Even though the prices seemed a bit high at first, the portion sizes and quality made it totally worth it. I’ll definitely be back!

BJR Pictures I was very impressed with this place!!! Ive never been here before and when I placed my order I asked the bartender if the two trick pony was any good. She said it was her favorite! I went with that and the tator tots and the flavor of the two meat, the brisket and pulled pork were the best that I have ever had at a restaurant besides smoking it myself! Well done! Great place inside, very clean and great ambiance in the place! I will definitely be back again!
