李李 The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was crowded. As for the food, the miso soup had a rich flavor, but the pork cutlet was slightly overcooked and the meat was a bit tough. The rice was somewhat soft and tender.

Hanovers Pub - Metamora

Rating: 4.6 /5
Shan B First time eating here and it was absolutely delicious! I can’t believe we haven’t ate here before to enjoy the hand battered mushrooms that were fried to order and we went on a Thursday when they had their chicken tenderloin. Sandwich has a special. Everything was fresh and Customer Service was great! We definitely will be back!

Troy Becker I was looking for Asian restaurants near me in Google maps and this was one of the choices. I had never been there before so thought I would give it a try. I am soooooo glad I did. The cashier (probably manager owner) was very nice and helpful in assisting me make a menu selection. I ordered the Crispy Hei Hei bowl to go. Fresh ingredients, quickly made, very tasty. I got 2 meals out of it. I will definitely return.

Sam Harnack The food was SO good! There were 5 of us and we all got something a little different and shared. I got the red fish and future and it was fantastic! The people were very kind and attentive as well. Im glad we decided to try something different, we will definitely be back!

Ed’s Delicatessen - Edwardsville

Rating: 4.8 /5
Lisa Fox Ed’s Delicatessen hits the sweet spot between classic deli comfort and a relaxed, modern hangout. We had the Reuben (served with a bright, flavorful olive salad) and the Mortadella sandwich—both satisfying and well-balanced. The Mortadella was a nostalgic reminder for my husband of his East Coast deli days, which made it especially meaningful. The drink menu adds to the fun with a great mix of cocktails and beers, including the Rhubarb Gin Fizz. With its chilled, easygoing vibe, Ed’s is an easy place to settle in—and we’re already looking forward to coming back to try their ever-evolving small plates menu.

Hydeout Bar & Grill - Poplar Grove

Rating: 4.4 /5
jeff grove Had a great time at Hydeout Bar & Grill with friends — it’s a nice spot for both business talks and casual hangouts. The food prices are reasonable, and everything tasted great. The atmosphere is comfortable and laid-back, especially with their nice outdoor seating area where you can relax and enjoy. They often host weekend events, which make the place even more fun. Drink prices are also fair. Definitely a good place to chill and unwind.
