Dave M *Deleted The Review On My Other Account To Post It Here.* Once again eating at Lunch Box Cafe was a great experience. It was busy there this time, but it was still relaxing. Its a lovely place where customers and staff can be found talking with each other and enjoying each others company. The food is delicious and not really that pricey at all. I got a Cowboy Burger for $7. This burger is a cheese burger with a slice of ham, onion rings, bacon, and BBQ sauce. Trust me its as amazing as it sounds. Now one thing I like to do when I go to a restaurant is check out the bathroom and Lunch Box Cafe has one of the most unique little bathrooms Ive ever saw. This year would mark 25 years since Lunch Box Cafe has opened and even though its only open till 2 pm, its still one of the best restaurants in Havana, Illinois.

Lu Bln We visited this place several times during our stay in Illinois. The food was excellent and the service incredibly friendly. Even with language barriers, the staff were always kind, patient, and very helpful. The milkshakes are amazing! It’s a special experience for tourists – you really feel welcome and at home. Thank you for the great experience!

John West For a little local bar had all the NFL games on for a Sunday! Several beers on tap! Service was great and the food is usually spot on! When in town always have to get a Chicken Philly with Tots and Queso!

Patti Laubscher Excellent peppermint milk shake, worth a return visit just for that! BBQ sandwich yummy. Burgers on point. I appreciate that their small size is actually small- so many chains give such huge portion sizes it is ridiculous. Will return to try more on the menu

Eric A. Hansen Easy parking. Lots of space. Easy to find off the main drag. It’s your typical subway menu so nothing to write to mother about but the grandkids love it and it’s easy and fast. Typical chain restaurant.
