Subway - (Near Petersburg, IL)

5 /5 Eric A. Hansen: Easy parking. Lots of space. Easy to find off the main drag. It’s your typical subway menu so nothing to write to mother about but the grandkids love it and it’s easy and fast. Typical chain restaurant.

1 /5 Zach Horn: Ordered online. Got there after about ten minutes went to drive through to pick up was told to come to window. Girl at the window said we are in the process off making your sandwiches but we have to stop to take care of a couple people who walked in after I arrived. I was rather irritated at that point at said well thats not right. She said well we still have 13 minutes to complete your order so pull around and park and well bring it to you. So I did. An extra 20minutes later I had to call to get them to bring my food our by that time the toasted sandwiches are ice cold and instructions were not floowed as I asked to have them wrapped individual 6" sandwiches. Called to talk to gm and and the guy said theyre working between 3 different stores so good luck. As a customer of subway I have never been made to feel like i am such a inconvenience as have at the Petersburg, Illinois location. Hopefully they will do better for the next customer. Do not recommend this location with those employees.

5 /5 Batman: Ordered two footlongs on the app before leaving County Market thinking Id save a few minutes. WRONG. Took 20 minutes from the time order was placed til it was in my hand. Food was good but definitely not what I would consider "fast" food.

3 /5 Gilmore Rachael (RachGilm): The employee was alone, person called off and no one from prior shift prepped. Customer service was great, quality of food, not so much. Bread for all 3 foot longs were extremely STALE. Imagine taking a bite of your delicious Sub and then … IT CRUMBLES ! Yup right before my meeting on camera … looking like I sprinkled crumbs EVERYWHERE. It’s appears that location is not following Subway policies, throwing out old bread, cost savings?!?! I’d think not. Fresh food = more business = higher profits.. Sadly, this is the second time in last year that we had this issue when ordering from Petersburg Subway (May 2023 & last Wed. (5/1/24). Live out of state and don’t find it coincidental that the TWO very random times we ordered from there, same issue. Was not worth the money. The Churros were ROCK HARD. Literally, it wouldn’t break when I hit on corner of counter just to show my family how hard it was. Only reason this gets 3 stars is the customer service, oh and the Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies., surprisingly they were soft! Cannot be the only ones that have had this issue. For the love of Subs … please bake fresh bread and THROW OUT bread when you’re supposed to in accordance with Subways standards! (Managed a truck stop for many years with a Subway, cannot imagine the company lowered their expectations!)
