Eli Donker The 17-year-old taking my order, Xander, did an excellent job. He got my family special order right. As I was waiting for my food, I then heard him handle a bilingual order with professionalism and grace. That kind of patience and customer service from a 17-year-old working a food service job is the optimism I needed to see in our society. Food came out quickly, clean, and good. I hope that the excellence in the small things leads to a life of excellence for the people that work here.

DANIEL LARSON Another trip out of Rockford, IL to check this place out after seeing a post and pics of a pork tenderloin sandwich, HUGE that actually looked great! So here the little sister and I go, oh, and the Frenchy and Olde Bulldogs lol. So, we arrive a bit after 7, packed, parked, took couple photos, Nikki went in and ordered, checked it out, couple pics, went back in after the food. I will say WOW, Pork Tenderloin, huge, juicy, not over done, the batter OMG, made the entire pork tenderloin. The tenderloin itself was fabulous, tender, good thickness, GREAT batter to tenderloin balance and wala, the great pork tenderloin. 9 out of 10, I have NOT rated higher yet just to make that rating clear. Now, on to the French fries, 10 out of 10, does just not get much better than these, perfect light crunch, potatoes DONE, not undercooked!!! Lastly, the coleslaw Hmmmmmm, cant get a handle on it but damn it is unique, delicious, and could almost be considered the ultimate healthy desert as well. A slight bite but sweetness overtakes but this two part backend palette taste is just hmmmmm, all together so flipping awesome 10 out of 10 on this coleslaw and lord do not change it. We will return.

Kelly Williams I just wanted to share how amazing the Mt. Vernon Hardees location is every time I visit. The staff are always kind, professional, and efficient. Every time I go to this location I can be assured that the food is phenomenal and is ready quickly. The manager Miranda was wonderful today! I shared with her how I appreciate such kind service with great food in person as well. Thank you!

Casey Our absolute favorite place. The best fish ever! The owner is always waiting tables and making sure things are going well. All staff is great. They do take reservations which is very helpful. Never had a bad meal. The place is older and nothing fancy but the food is so good.

Andrea Thompson This is a very nice spot to chill, drink, eat, or play pool or darts. Fireplace that you can sit by and plenty of seating. There is a nice patio in the back with bags and a grill. During the winter they have a smoking area slightly indoors. The prices are very nice with a variety of alcohol types. The food is definitely good especially for a bar. It’s also open late!! Slot machines as an alternative entertainment. This is a must try and enjoy!!!
