Steak n Shake - (Near Effingham, IL)

5 /5 Katie Myers: If I could give more than 5 stars for our experience at this Steak ‘n Shake, I absolutely would. We were on a roadtrip to Cincinnati and stopped here for lunch, and it will be a must-have stop from now on. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Misty, one of the managers, made our day with service that was truly above and beyond. I had to stay in the car with our corgi while my boyfriend went in, and she was kind enough to bring out my food to the car while he ate! My boyfriend mentioned that his birthday is today, and she surprised him by making a birthday shake to go. She even gave us a pup cup for our corgi. Not only was this the best Steak ‘n Shake experience we’ve ever had, but honestly one of the best food service experiences. Very grateful, thank you Misty and team!!

5 /5 Zak: Steak n Shake has changed the game! They are back! The beef tallow fries are incredible in every way. The double steakburger and side of Chili are always on point now to! The best part of it all? I can pay using Bitcoin! Any place that accepts BTC is a place I will visit!

3 /5 Anna Shomo: One of the waitresses (an older lady) informed us that they were out of seasoning for the fries but "you can buy a container of it from us if you want it that bad" My burger was good except for the garlic sauce was entirely in one corner of the burger and made a giant mess. Another one of the waitresses was incredibly sweet and provided a great experience. Overall, just okay.

5 /5 Augustine Nguyen: A lady went nuts at the drive through when I was in line. I wasnt expecting dinner AND a show! The burger and fries were delicious, and the sweet woman at the window was fantastic! She handled that crazy lady like a pro. I definitely recommend this spot! A+

5 /5 Jeff G: I love steak and shake. I think its still the best bang for the buck. The burgers are much better than McDonalds and the fries are about as good. The price is outstanding for what you get compared to most places of this quality
