L. Reid Worth every calorie ;) The employees and customers are also so kind! The potato donuts are definitely filling and completely satisfying. Its fun to try daily specials. Maple Donuts are especially fantastic, but on days theyre not available I highly recommend the old fashions! Have you tried one yet? 10/10

Rick White Stopped here for breakfast on 10.16.2025 and was served by Amber. The full-sized Breakfast Shoe was Spectacular!! Highly Recommend to anyone traveling through Springfield, Illinois, and I will Definitely come back again.

John Butler Every time we eat there the food is wonderful. You get a large portion and the service is very good. You have to try their pie, too. It’s an old fashioned sit at the counter dining area. It will remind you of yesteryear.

Amanda Dryjanski I ordered a barbacoa bowl and salad both bowls came with carnitas on it..I called about six hours later because I had work and didn’t have a chance to eat to inform them that it was incorrect the girl who answered the phone said “I thought it looked like carnitas let me go check” I was like umm this was six hours ago so why hadn’t anything been done when you thought it looked wrong. Some people can’t eat pork and purposely order beef product to avoid it this is a serious mistake that was blatantly overlooked by the staff. I absolutely hate writing bad reviews but the fact that she acknowledged it and didn’t seem to care really rubbed me the wrong way! If you have any food restrictions I’d be aware!

Catherine It is a great downtown pub. We went for live music. Place is clean and the lightning and woodwork is amazing. Old school pub vibe. We did not get a chance to try the food but Id like to return to do so. Drinks were good. Service wonderful.
