Taco Jims - (Near Anna, IL)

5 /5 Patrick Paddick: Ill admit, when I ordered from a taco truck in Southern IL I wasnt expecting to be blown away by the food. I was wrong. I had the birria beef quesadilla and street corn. It was the best dang birria Ive had in a long time. It was like being punched in the mouth with flavor. The spice level is just right for me as well - a little bit of heat, but not enough to be overpowering. The shells were perfectly done and I swear I could drink the birria sauce. The street corn has an unexpected amount of flavor and texture, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Price wasnt bad, either. My fiance had the birria chicken tacos and rice. I only tried a bite of each, but both were every bit as amazing. I cant believe this guy is self-taught and is putting out this kind of food! If they catered, Id have Taco Jims do my wedding, it was that good. 10/10, cant wait to come back.

5 /5 Brittany Main-Medina: Taco Jim catered a dinner at Trike Fest this year. I had never heard Of him, but I was so excited when I saw he was making Birria tacos, which are my favorite. Those tacos were so dang GOOD. My husband and I still talk about them a couple weeks later. Highly recommend.

1 /5 Trevor Williams: Blocked my review on FB so they where set up at gorville freedom fest 7/4/25 my step daughter and her friend where waiting in line for 45 minutes being cut in line several times finally get to the order window and they where out of what they had wanted thats to be expected with as many people that where they so they was trying to decide what they wanted and they had called my wife to tell her what they were out of and to see what she wanted just to be told to get out of the line like they waited 45 minutes couldnt wait like 20 seconds to find out and then block my review on FB and delete my comments so people cant see the review well they wont get mine or my family business and if anyone ask about taco Jims il be sure to tell them my review! Fired from your food trailer good way to many more with good food and customer service so id be glad to go elsewhere and by the way dont drink and Im up every day by 5:45 am by the way and oh Im sure Im not the only one I know Im not the only one on here either read your reviews.
