Thompson Dining Center - Macomb

Rating: 4 /5
Eliana Moore Thompson Dining Center is a solid spot if youre in the area and looking for a chill, hearty meal. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while. I also grabbed a side of mashed potatoes and green beans, which were fresh and well-seasoned. Spent about $18 for a filling meal that hit the spot. The atmosphere is casual, and the staff is friendly, which makes for a relaxed dining experience. Definitely recommend if youre craving some comfort food that doesnt break the bank!

Alex walker I came in here for a quick bite after some exams and the food was so good and fresh! They are a bit pricey but the dumplings and tripe were worth it! Everything was good and fresh and these were some of the best dumplings I have ever had!!

Best Buffet - Jacksonville

Rating: 3.6 /5
Savannah Best buffet Ive ever been to! Would definitely recommend going. I didnt know what to expect because some reviews were not the best. But it was amazing so good I cant believe how many choices there were. The price was so reasonable, we went for lunch and it was $13.50 per person. The food was hot and delicious. The egg rolls and spring rolls were crispy. They had everything from egg drop soup, tons of types of chicken, beef, and fish to amazing desserts. I tried almost everything. The staff was so nice and let us take our time.

Tyler Farmer The meal was fantastic. Burgers were perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Regular fries and sweet potato fries were crisp and tasty. Every bite reflected the high quality of the ingredients.

Taxco Mexican Cuisine - Sycamore

Grease Monkette We had the best waitress ive ever had in my life at any the restaurant. I started choking at my pop and she came right out to make sure I was okay. The food was amazing as usual. We got the guacamole, which is always one point and steak chimichangas.

Wingstop - Sycamore

Rating: 2.4 /5
LoneRanger Let me start by saying the food at Wingstop is delicious—especially the wings. The lemon pepper and hot honey flavors are my favorites, and the dry rub wings are top-notch. When it comes to taste, Wingstop nails it every time. However, the service is a major issue. The wait times are outrageous, and it’s beyond frustrating. I called 10 times in a row one day, hoping to place my order ahead, but nobody ever picked up the phone. I thought maybe they were busy, so I drove over to place the order in person. When I walked in, there were zero customers inside, and yet, not one of the staff answered the phone. Instead of ordering ahead, I had to place my order there and wait 45 minutes for a simple 15-piece bone-in wing order. To make matters worse, I couldn’t even use the app to order because I had a credit under my phone number, and the only way to redeem it is either by calling them (which, of course, they never answer) or ordering in person. Another time, I placed an online order that said it would be ready by 6 PM—I didn’t leave until 6:35 PM. The food is great, but when you’re waiting that long and dealing with poor service, it really detracts from the experience. The food is solid and reasonably priced, but the service is seriously lacking, and it’s enough to make me rethink coming back unless they can improve.
