LoneRanger Let me start by saying the food at Wingstop is delicious—especially the wings. The lemon pepper and hot honey flavors are my favorites, and the dry rub wings are top-notch. When it comes to taste, Wingstop nails it every time.
However, the service is a major issue. The wait times are outrageous, and it’s beyond frustrating. I called 10 times in a row one day, hoping to place my order ahead, but nobody ever picked up the phone. I thought maybe they were busy, so I drove over to place the order in person. When I walked in, there were zero customers inside, and yet, not one of the staff answered the phone.
Instead of ordering ahead, I had to place my order there and wait 45 minutes for a simple 15-piece bone-in wing order. To make matters worse, I couldn’t even use the app to order because I had a credit under my phone number, and the only way to redeem it is either by calling them (which, of course, they never answer) or ordering in person.
Another time, I placed an online order that said it would be ready by 6 PM—I didn’t leave until 6:35 PM. The food is great, but when you’re waiting that long and dealing with poor service, it really detracts from the experience.
The food is solid and reasonably priced, but the service is seriously lacking, and it’s enough to make me rethink coming back unless they can improve.
