Ashley S I thoroughly enjoyed my restaurant experience here! The service from the waiters were excellent and ambience were nice. The food was crafted expertly and although there were a couple of dishes I didn’t vibe with I still enjoyed experiencing them. Each wine paired nicely with the courses and were the perfect pour. Everything just flowed naturally the entire evening. There were more dishes than what I’m posting but go try for yourself! I’m glad I was able to try this spot out in Chicago!

wojski Party of 5. Came on a Sunday. Great atmosphere. It wasnt too busy. We were seated instantly. Gibson, our waiter, was awesome. Friendly, polite, and had great communication. Food was soo excellent! We had, Ribs and mashed potatoes, chicken and sweat potato, one had a burger and fries, chopped steak and mashed potatoes, and country fried steak and mashed potatoes. We also ordered potato skins and the brussell sprouts….everything, and i mean everything was good. Food was hot and whoever is the cook back there is amazing. We live in Florida and come up to Illinois once a year, we come here, and the food never disappoints. Definitely recommend this place.

Kenneth Baker Appetizers: seared tuna and crab turnover pastries. Excellent! Best seared tuna ever. Lobster bisque: good. Not the typical tomato base with sherry but still good. Drinks: mango mojito- very good! Stawberry lemon basin maryini - good. French 75 - decent. Grouper Oskar - very good. Halibut Florentine - excellent. Key lime pie - respectable. Youll need reservations. 530 was crowded.

Kyle délicieux! Visited on a Friday without a reservation and waited ~45 minutes on a table for 3. You can grab drinks from the bar and enjoy them in the building lobby while you wait. Loved the spacious patio. Mon Ami Gabi is on a quiet street, making its patio setting unique for Chicagoland restaurants. Service was exceptional. Some of the best I’ve seen in a while. Tried the baguette, oysters, shrimp cocktail, frisée and lardon salad, and hangar steak. Every dish was a hit, especially the frisée and lardon, such a unique flavor combination. One of the best I’ve tried in a while, would recommend for plenty of occasions.

Mike Mansfield An easy location to get to we arrived around 4:45 pm and it was already getting busy. We didn’t have reservations so they sat us over in the bar area. No problem as it was more secluded and quiet than the open dining room. The decor is of a 1920’s Speakeasy with all employees dressing the part as well. My wife had a 6 oz. Flat iron steak cooked to medium well and the chef nailed it. I had Cajun chicken with a slab of baby back ribs and a side of baked sweet potato. Chef nailed that one too. The Cajun was not overly spicy and the chicken was as moist as I’ve ever eaten. The ribs fell off the bone and had a nice BBQ sauce that was slightly sweet. An overall great food experience. They also have a piano bar with live music playing. I’ll suggest that if you go later in the evening to make reservations.
