Weldon Springs Restaurant & Kayak Rental - Clinton

Rating: 1 /5
Brenda Veteto We do d go when it first opened. The food and service was great! Enjoyed chatting with the owners. We went back for music one evening and enjoyed that as well. However we returned 3 times to eat to find it closed even when the it said it was open online. Once we walked the trail from the campground. Very disappointing! We were hoping to enjoy the concession throughout the summer months. Sad it hasn’t worked out.

The Old Y Diner - Taylor Springs

Brenda Goehlich Very welcoming, clean, comfortable. Service was excellent. Josie is an excellent server. Food ... Great! Liver, onions, baked potato and salad; cheese tortellini with red sauce/beef and cream of mushroom soup. Son isnt a meat eater but he wiped that tortellini dish clean. Reasonable pricing. $32 for 2.

Hoghead69 Fun place. Lots to do. I got the Ruben and Im pretty sure it was the best Ruben Ive ever ate. The Bloody Mary was bland compared to other places Ive had them so Ill just get something different next time. Will definitely go back to try other menu items.

Andrews at the Westbrook - Paris

Larry Dorsch Our waitress gets a five-star rating. She was pleasant, polite, patient, and arrived at the table on a timely basis throughout the meal. Our party of 4 each had a different entrée and all gave their meal a five-star rating. Who would have guessed that the chef could make butternut squash into a tasty side, but he did. The desserts were brought out on a tray for viewing which only made the selection process more difficult. They looked and tasted delicious. The cost for 4 dinners and 4 desserts with only water to drink was $297 + tip. Street signage at the restaurant is not prominent so make sure you know where you are going. Parking is ample. The tables are widely spaced, but I suspect a loud group would be a problem for the other tables in the small dining rooms. Mobility challenged residents should check with the restaurant about access.
