The Village Tavern & Grill of Carol Stream - (Near Carol Stream, IL)

SimplePTT USA Walking in, I was greeted and seated. The table and booth was clean and sanitary. The young gentleman quickly brought over warm and fresh tortilla chips and plenty of salsa in a tall pouring container. I was asked what I’d like to drink within about 2-3 mins which I ordered a raspberry margarita on the rocks. A few min later the young lady asked if I was ready to order, which I was. I ordered the Mixed fajitas plate for one. In less than 5 mins my food came out sizzling on the iron skillet with a full plate of add-ons and 3 warm and fresh tortillas. There was plenty of meat and veggies cooked flawlessly and the pico was amazing. I made myself 3 stuffed tortillas and that only used 1/2 of my course. After I ate those, I used the remaining chips and mixed everything together and made plenty of scoops. This mean was for one by menu terms, but it could easily feed 2 people for lunch just by getting 3 extra flour tortillas. The price for everything was right about the $32 mark, which if you were there for 2 people this would be a great lunch for two. The margarita I ordered was a mini pitcher. You get all the chips you can eat also and salsa. My only advice is if you’re going as a group, spend some time eating those chips and sipping on your drinks because once you order, that food only takes a few mins to bring out. For a small town dine in, I give this 4.5 stars out of 5. Truly authentic tasting and family friendly environment for all with plenty of seating.

Pat Pikesh We had car trouble coming from Fla stayed over night while the car was fixed. Hotel was wonderful, very clean, more than accomodating , allowed us to keep the room till afternoon when the car was ready. The resturant was very good for breakfast, Abigail was very nice and great service. Would stay there again. Thank you holidaymotel and resturant.

Michele Kolalis This Italian restaurant was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with so much care. I highly recommend the cacio e pepe — it’s prepared tableside and brought out in an old-school Parmesan cheese wheel, which makes it not only fun to watch but incredibly fresh and rich in flavor. It was hands-down one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Beyond the food, what truly makes this place special are the people. Rose is an amazing person with a wonderful personality, and her warmth and passion shine through in every detail. You can genuinely feel the love and hard work that she and her mom have put into building this business. The service was welcoming, attentive, and made the entire experience feel personal and authentic. From the atmosphere to the food to the people behind it, this restaurant is something truly special. I can’t wait to come back and recommend it to anyone looking for incredible Italian food and a heartfelt dining experience. I can’t wait to come back with my family me and my gramps loved the place always do and always will go back !

Janice Rumbaugh Not quite what I was expecting for a deep dish, but yummy tasting all the same. This was more like a thick pan pizza. Think pizza hut, but waaayyy better! We were so hungry that we dug in and ate before I took a pic. This picture is what we had left of a 10 inch deep dish with sausage. I am not a big eater, so this was enough for 2. Finally, a big shout out to our wonderful server. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would stop here again if we are ever in the area.

V. L. Stankus Enjoyed a delicious steak dinner with my husband on our anniversary. Had about a 5-minute wait to be seated on a Friday night. Waitress was friendly. Offered delicious warm chips and salsa while we waited for our meal. Salsa was not too spicy and not too chunky. Very good. Food was prepared well and very tasty. They offer flavored butter to top the steaks. Delicious. Steak tender and juicy. Prepared medium rare. Only thing we didnt care for was the Cole slaw.
