Reaper Remix The atmosphere was great, with a charming dive bar vibe, despite being in the upscale town of Geneva. We ordered a couple of drinks and sampled a few appetizers. The food surpassed expectations for bar fare—my wife enjoyed the pulled pork sliders, while I had the chicken tenders and coconut shrimp. All three dishes hit the spot. The service was quick and attentive. If youre in the area, I highly recommend checking out Dam Bar.

SLP One of my sister’s coworker dropped by and after some time catching up, we decided to go out to grab a bite here. Unfortunately it was too late to order beignets, so we had moved onto the other items on the menu. I opted for the updated version of the tuna melt…. Instead it was chicken salad, which surprisingly was tasty and moist. Of course I was forced to sample everyone else’s food and the chicken pot pie was creamy and savory. It was topped by a flaky buttery pastry that melted in my mouth. I only sampled the sauce for the BBQ burger and it was delicious. Lastly the French toast with cherries was a great surprise. Maria was our server and was prompt and professional. Great food experience!

matt Went in for pick up. Seemed short staffed. All tables but on werent bussed and only one sushi chef in the back. Sushi is good quality though for mid west.

Christine Dathe Pizza Antica is hands down our favorite Italian restaurant in Champaign. The pizza is truly authentic stone-oven pizza—exceptional in quality and flavor. As Europeans who have eaten great pizza in Italy, we can honestly say this is the real deal. The service is wonderful, the wine selection is excellent, and the location has a very special atmosphere. We absolutely love coming here, and many of our most beautiful date nights have been spent at Pizza Antica. Authentic, cozy, high quality, and consistently outstanding—five stars without hesitation.

Lisette John My first visit to McAlister’s Deli in Wheaton was nothing short of fantastic! I was thoroughly impressed with the freshly made and delicious food. We decided to explore a few new menu items, including the lasagna soup, the McAlister’s club, and the spicy Creole sandwich—all of which were outstanding. The ultimate nachos topped with vegan chili were a hit, and we couldnt resist trying dessert: the red velvet cheesecake and the brookie & brownie were divine! Their menu really caters to everyone, including kids; we enjoyed the Mac & cheese and cheese pizza, which were both hits at our table. For drinks, the Witches Brew and their refreshing lemonade tea were perfect accompaniments. I’m now seriously obsessed with their lemonade tea and the spicy Creole salad! The staff was incredibly friendly and offered great recommendations, making our experience even better. The service was impeccable, and I can’t wait to return for another round of deliciousness. Highly recommend McAlister’s.
