Wendys - (Near Robinson, IL)

ᗰคгรєlค ᗰ. This is my first time eating at Washington Family Restaurant. I just happened to be in the area so I figured I would be my family there for lunch after church on sunday. There were a lot of people here, they seem to be a very popular place. We had to wait for a few minutes by the door when we walked in but it also looked like the amount of people that walked in was also the amount of tables that they had open so everybody got seated right away. For my drink I ordered coffee and I use the hazelnut creamer honestly I dont always like restaurant coffee but this coffee actually tasted great, I even had a second cup! We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. It came with marinara and ranch, I thought they were pretty good and they had a very successful cheese pull! I specifically like the meat sauce that was served with the cheese sticks. For our main meals, I ordered the country breakfast, my husband ordered a meat skillet, and my son ordered the homemade chicken strips. The chicken strips came with a bowl of chicken and rice soup which tasted great, he liked it a lot. My husband ended up getting a bowl too. All of the food was hot and freshly made and I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy! Im not sure if they were homemade but they really were great! Are waitress Lisa was really friendly I really enjoyed talking to her. Ended up finding out that my husband used to be friends with her brother as they were growing up, small world! She said that she had been working there for 18 years, such a long time but she clearly knows how to get the job done, she was a great waitress! We just may have to come back and visit soon so we can try something else on the menu!

Conor Cook We came here on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. It was quiet, but it was our first time and it was a great experience! The food here is very good and there were so many things I wish I tried, so I will definitely come back! I went with the burger today. The staff were super friendly and it was sort of like a great mix of fast food and sit down restaurant experience combined. They had live TV and casino games to play too! (Written 12-23-25)

Sutton Perry-Broekemeier I literally skipped school to get breakfast here! I went with my sister and we were taken care of by Stephanie. Stephanie is a great waitress and she is very patient and kind. our food was delicious and filling. the portion size was perfect for our appetite. the atmosphere is my favorite part. it has a calm vintage appeal. I will be sure to come back again

LAREEN SCHLAMP I just love their sauce cuz I was Italian in my family too. And I remember when they had the store the last time before it got on fire my daughter worked there and she was young I brought some of my meatballs in and hes tried them. I just love their food anyway.

Monica McFalls Shrimp salad for my husband and salmon with 2 sides for me. I now recommend the cottage cheese and applesauce.

Jerry Linker We were on a Christmas lights and decoration tour and added 16 Bar and Grill for a stop as they decorate and serve seasonal drink specials. One of our group had a bowl of Chile which is ready made as we were not staying long. Wait staff very friendly and accommodating. A Saturday, night - very busy.
