Antoines Restaurant - (Near New Orleans, LA)

4 /5 Kelly CS: We entered and gave the hostess our reservation name and we sat promptly. The back waiter, Kobe came and brought us our water swiftly. I was happy that they had a lunch menu on Sunday as well. Our waiter came a few minutes later and we were ready to order. He ordered the burger, and I got the lunch special which included a cocktail, an appetizer, and an entrée for $44 I started with the oyster trio and got a French 75 cocktail. I had waiter said he would come right out with bread and forgot. The oyster trio appetizer was excellent. When our Andres came, he got the burger and I got the fillet over mashed potatoes and asparagus and they failed to bring me a steak knife. I politely asked another waiter that was setting up a table to bring me one and it was done promptly. I then had to remind someone if they could please bring me bread. I ordered the steak, medium rare, although it was cooked correctly it lacked a bit of flavor and the sauce they put on top was overwhelming. We were full, so we passed on dessert. A highlight of the meal is that a three-piece band came to serenade our table. The lead musician was joyful and interacted with us like he had been doing this his whole life. He was magnificent.

5 /5 Eric Heppen: Came here for a nice dinner out with the larger family and this place did not disappoint. The waiters we attentive, we got some great history and the food was fantastic. Our party had the potatoe soufle dish and and oyster rockerfeller and soups all around. For dinner it was a mix of steak, the chicken, and seafood and everything was fantastic. All of us would come back here easily and would recommend to anyone in town or just visiting.

5 /5 Maria Rossi: When visiting New Orleans you have to visit Antoines for the best fine dining experience. Its Christmas time so they are decorated beautifully but the place is stunning. The food and service are excellent. We decided to come back again before our trip is over. Right now they have an amazing 4 course meal that is a fantastic deal! The wait staff was also fantastic! The baked Alaska for 2 or more is a treat. Just let your waiter know when you arrive that you will be wanting that.

5 /5 T Y: We had been told by several locals that we absolutely had to include Antoines in our plans. It was so easy to make the reservation using the Open Table App. I must say they did not disappoint! The atmosphere was warm. I was suspicious we were in for a treat when I saw the china with their name on it. Our server, Myles, was phenomenal. (He knows the menu inside and out.) We started with the Souffle Potatoes, French onion soup, and Oysters Rockefeller. We were informed that the Souffle Potatoes were an Antoines original. All were delicious. Next we had the Chicken Rochambeau and the Filet Marchand de Vin. The chicken being paired with the ham and pineapple confit just made it undescribably delicious. The steak was so tender it could be cut with a butter knife. We had never had a baked Alaska, so we figured there was no better time to try it. We were so glad we did. The taste was only matched by the dishes beauty!! Yes, the meal was pricey, but we feel like it was worth every penny. Yes, we would definitely return.
