5 /5 Ashley Chisholm: My family loves big thicket bbq! When you walk in you order at the counter. After you order you find a seat and when your food is ready they bring it out to you. The best BBQ around and the sides are always delicious! My daughter and I shared double brisket and we each got 2 sides & a drink.

5 /5 Michele Mere: Just picked up our Christmas tree from Grants Tree Farm and my husband and I decided to find lunch in Deridder. So glad we did. The BBQ was amazing. The burnt ends, brisket and sausage were deliciously seasoned and cooked just right.

5 /5 Samuel Patton: Not many places I rate get 5 stars. 5 stars are reserved for those special places. Those places that tick every box and delight the senses. This is one of those places. We ate here for lunch on our 27th anniversary and were delighted. The place doesnt look like much on the outside, but inside packs a punch. Although seating is very limited, we were able to get a seat. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. The ladies at the counter were quick to make recommendations and very pleasant in conversation. I ordered the 2 Meat Plate and my wife ordered the brisket tacos. It didnt take long for our feast to arrive and we dined like kings. Its rare that you find a place where the sides are equally as good as the entrees but they are here. We tried them all and they were fabulous. The brisket & ribs were among the best Ive had anywhere including some top ranked places in my home state of Texas. My wife loved the brisket tacos as well. We posted a few pics on Facebook and had several friends follow our lead to eat there the next day. And they were just as impressed. Would I go back? Absolutely! This is the best BBQ Ive eaten in Louisiana and probably the best Ive eaten anywhere in the last couple years. Its 3 hours from where we live but Id gladly make the drive. Its that good!
