4 /5 Bobbie Sue Bennett: I recently dined at Blue Bayou and ordered the garlic oysters and the jambalaya. The garlic oysters were definitely the highlight—very fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. You could really tell the quality of the oysters, and they were easy to enjoy without being overpowered.
The jambalaya was good overall, but for New Orleans–style food, it was missing a little depth and seasoning. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not as bold or flavorful as I expected.
That said, the service was great—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience enjoyable. With a bit more seasoning in the jambalaya, this place would really hit the mark. I’d definitely come back for the oysters and the atmosphere.
