El Potro - Opelousas

Rating: 4.4 /5
B. Doctor (TechDiva) Some of the best Mexican food around. The margaritas are delicious and STRONG. The owner and his staff always give the best customer service. I’ve never had a bad meal from here and often host my business meetings here.

Cajun Critters - Houma

Rating: 4.4 /5
Denise Lawson Everything was great, the food, the service and the atmosphere. The food tasted great, however portions were very small! I ordered blackened catfish and shrimp. The catfish was paper thin and was only bits and pieces, not a full filet. The shrimp was very very small.

Fat Calf Brasserie - Shreveport

Megan Lowe First visit last night. Amazing cocktails, amazing focaccia appetizer, and amazing entrees. I had the Ember Carrots (an appetizer) and the Roasted Tomato Soup (a special), and they were {{chefs kiss}}. The Pecan Custard Tart was good but would be better served warm. We sat inside at the bar and really appreciated the friendly, responsive professionalism of the bartenders Connor and Cat (hope I spelled those correctly). All the staff were friendly and professional, attentive and responsive. The building and its available dining space are small. This contributes positively to the cozy ambiance, but it is also why one MUST make a reservation. This is not the kind of place that can take walk-ins. Theres not enough convenient parking. Street parking is available but not exactly friendly. I recognize thats limitation of the property and the area so its not really a criticism - more an observation. While this is not an issue for me, it is worth noting that the restaurant is not super accessible-friendly. Limited convenient parking, narrow walking spaces within the building itself, not-exactly-convenient toilet access if you choose to sit on the outside patio - not exactly wheelchair or mobility-aid friendly. That critique notwithstanding, our experience otherwise was super positive. We plan to return, and we look forward to our next visit!

Brocatos Breakfast & Lunch - Alexandria

Rating: 4.6 /5
Anthony Sanchez Brocatos is in a nice location with pretty easy access. Parking can be an issue depending on peak serving times. The atmosphere is comfortable, very cafeteria-like. The menu is quite large, and family service with a smile seems to be a good theme. The food has always been fresh when I visited. The repeat customers seem to be very satisfied. its always good to support local family-owned restaurants, which seem to be crowded out by "chain" restaurants lately. Recommended.

Johnnys Pizza House - Jonesboro

Ronald Harper I love the menu items. But, I live the lunch buffet and salad bar options. Dine in, delivery, drive through or to go.

Louisiana Bayou Bistro - Brusly

Rating: 4.3 /5
Ginger Landry 1st time ever branching out and ordering my family’s turkey, ham , rice dressing & cornbread dressing . We ordered from Bayou Bistro and my family enjoyed every single bit of the food . I still cooked a few more sides and a smoked pork roast myself . But Bayou Bistro took a huge load off of my back and the food was absolutely amazing! I was able to spend more time with my family and enjoy some delicious food without all of the stress and time spent in the kitchen. I recommend Bayou bistro 1000%. Hats off to Lindsey for her wonderful customer service and for an exceptional experience! We will be placing our Christmas order with Bayou Bistro .
