Mike Moore This was my first visit. I had the Lamb Kabob plate. The lamb was wonderfully cooked. The vegetables, rice, and hummus were all good. The side salad with feta was superb. The restraunt counter service. Lots of options I wish I could have tried everything.

Tad Howard This place has a wonderful selection of locally inspired offerings! Lots of them are gluten free as well. One of my family members suffers from Celiac so it was a blessing to have GF beignets from here. The gumbo tacos are a must. We also had pork tacos, gator bites, duck bombs (so good), chicken & waffles and more. Plenty of outdoor seating and right across from Jackson Park. John gave us excellent service and took great care of us. Shout out to you, John! Karen, our walking tour guide, recommended this place and she’s right (as usual). Try this place, especially if you have Celiac.

Rebekah Slack I order often from Monticello and their pizza has been less than par. Bastrop gets it right every single time! I live in Crossett and make the drive because it’s worth the quality.

Mrs S Robinson Hold up…I am so impressed not only with the food but the kind staff. This plate was packed with so much flavor! The grilled fish was cooked perfectly and there was so many large grilled shrimp. The coleslaw was different than I’ve had at other establishments. Compliments on the flavor! So glad the staff recommended the curly fries over the onion rings even though he said that was hard to choose but hand battered fresh is a win for me! Can’t wait to go back!
