Jackie Pierce My husband and I really enjoyed our first experience at Brasserie Byronz. The staff were so courteous and friendly, and the restaurant itself was super clean with a relaxing atmosphere.
We had the Goat Cheese Croquettes, Chicken Bouillebasse, and Crab Mac & Fromage.
The croquettes were out of this world. Fresh, hot - but not too hot!, and savory with a bit of sweet (served with pickled cranberries and honey). I am so impressed with these, that next time I might skip an entree altogether and just get several orders of the Croquettes.
The Bouillebasse was flavorful, the Chicken tender, and it reminded me of a nostalgic home cooked meal my mother would often make. Its similar to gumbo, but with a lot less liquid and more rice. I did need to add a bit of salt and pepper, but I like my food with a good deal of seasoning. Garlic bread was on point, soft, and buttery.
The Crab Mac & Cheese had wayyyyyy more Crab than I was expecting, which was pleasantly surprising! Good portion and delicious.
Were looking forward to coming back another time to try more out!
