2 /5 Garret Collins: Really enjoyed the food, when they were a taco truck. So went here with really high hopes.
So let’s get into it.
Food:
Great taste as always, but I would say you don’t get what you pay for, I got 4 quesabirria tacos (that’s it, no side) and a drink, for $17
My friend had a steak quesadilla with rice and beans and drink for $17.
Service:
This is where it really got to me, we were sat for 15 minutes with only drinks. I’m not sure if it was a mistake, but they had on the menu to get chips and salsa for $7, so I asked about a chorizo/queso dip for $5 (presuming we would get chips), they said that it doesn’t come with chips. We sat for about 10 more minutes before our order was taken.
Then both orders were wrong, they hastily remade mine (quite burnt), however my friend never received any of his side dishes (rice and beans) they in fact brought everything he had asked not to have, and nothing he asked for.
“Atmosphere:”
Overall it was okay, I saw multiple dishes sent back, and I witnessed about 4 different groups walk out, some never being sat, some sitting down and were never waited.
Overall:
I really wanted to like this place, and I really do like the staff, however it is inexcusable of a restaurant. I can understand if it was packed, but half of the tables were empty at 12:00. Perhaps there are kinks to be worked out, and surely the transition from food truck to restaurant is hard, however not to this extent. Not to mention the prices were a bit high, the only “lunch specials” were 5 different meat fajita dishes all of which were $22. I likely will not return for some time.
