Mamas Fried Chicken - (Near Opelousas, LA)

5 /5 Travis VanLangendonck: Been here many times with the inlaws. Great place. Good chicken, as to be expected, but was surprised with how good their burgers and seafood was. Also, try the chicken salad. I hate chicken salad, but this? Amazing. Fast service, and friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

5 /5 Brandon Berthelot: We keep hearing about this place so we made a drive from BR to check it out. We went through drive thru as our toddler will not behave. First the woman taking our order was very polite and friendly. Same when we got to the window. I got a 4 piece and my wife got a tender meal. Her review was the seasoned fries were excellent. Tenders were as well, a little on the spicy side but she admits to being a wuss. My 4 piece started out concerning. The wing was very basic with little seasoning or flavor. But then I ate the drumstick and thigh which was the complete opposite. Juicy, flavorful breading, and perfect spice. Very good chicken. All I can figure about the wing is maybe they under season them so they can sauce them, or I just got a weak one. Fried Okra was crispy and delicious. Biscuits were excellent. All well worth the drive.

3 /5 Steven Oliver: Apparently lobby closes an hour before drive thru. Drive thru line was long and slow moving. Price was reasonable. Chicken was extra extra crispy and a large size. Onion rings were over cooked and nearly dehydrated. Fried okra was crispy. French fries were good.

4 /5 Ms Zpb: Fish, shrimp, and chicken were good! I was highly disappointed with the rice dressing. It tasted as if it had sat under a hot box light all day. Not tasty at all. Onion rings and lemonade were the best thing on the menu.
