Martones Italian Restaurant - (Near Many, LA)

5 /5 Janet Walters: My husband and I found ourselves in Many on a Friday night and stopped in for an impromptu dinner. We knew it was going to be good when we were greeted by the delicious scent of the wood fire oven (we were hoping for a wood fire grill also but no, just the oven). We started with the Marsala fries, which were very good (kind of reminded us of poutine). We both had the ribeye, which was seasoned and chargrilled perfectly, and also exceptionally tender. The Brussels sprouts were very good and I loved the Balsamic glaze, but they were a little undercooked for my personal preference (I prefer them more tender). However, the star of the show was the gnocchi. Neither of us have ever had gnocchi prepared this way. They were slightly toasted on the outside and fluffy on the inside, like little garlicky pillows of deliciousness. Each meal also came with two yummy garlic bread sticks that are baked in the wood fire pizza oven. Our server Leona was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and casual. We will definitely return when we’re back in the area!

5 /5 K P: Unbelievable food! I was so happy to have found this place. My daughter-in-law is expecting her first child and all she was craving was Italian food. Great choice here. The food was fresh, plentiful, and tasty. The gnocchi was cooked and then sautéed (I’m assuming). It had a crispy outer section that was a great surprise. The side of meatballs were cooked through and through. Sometimes a larger meatball won’t be completely done on the inside. Not here-it was cooked but still juicy. The restaurant is clean. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

5 /5 Chuck Barker: Love dining out here. Food is always amazing and the staff is very friendly. I love the egg plant parmigiana. I do wish they would redo their appetizer menu. Prices are way to high for the portions they serve. $9.99 for 4 stuffed mushrooms and $9.99 for 4 bread sticks. But other than that I have no complaints. I would recommend Martons for anyone who enjoys good Italian food.

5 /5 Payton Partin: Martone’s welcomed me with a cozy brick oven scent that only comes with authenticity, and showed me off with a full and satisfied belly. From service, to portion size, to flavor Martone’s didn’t lack at all. My wife would HIGHLY recommend Mamas Lasagna (I can agree), as well as the Bruschetta Pasta with Chicken. We’ll be back, Many!
