5 /5 Sinem Altunbas: We spent the last week of December in NOLA and had an incredible dinner at Muriel’s. My husband and I both chose the Table d’Hôte menu, and honestly, it was a great decision.
The Turtle Soup and the Shrimp and Goat Cheese CrĂŞpes were absolutely delicious. For our mains, we had the Shrimp and Grits and the Pecan-Crusted Drum, both were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and genuinely memorable.
We finished with the Bread Pudding (that rum sauce… wow) and the Pecan Tart, and they were the perfect end to the night.
Beyond the food, the vibe was great. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the price felt very fair for how much we got and how good everything was. If you’re in the French Quarter, definitely put Muriel’s on your list. I already want to go back!
