29thizzle The place had a great ambiance. I went for lunch with my son. I also had my service animal with me and it first appeared that the server would give me an issue with my service animal, but she accommodated us within seconds. I had the pesto Pollo with cut baked red potatoes. I asked for some red sauce to go with the potatoes and it was great! The food was all tasty and the waitress was very polite, professional, and respectful!

Tara G. Lawanna was amazing! So kind and attentive. Burger was hot and fresh, drinks stayed refilled, and my togo cup even had a sweet handwritten message! We will 100% come back!!

Marcome Yates Fish was kinda muddy again today... Sometimes Ive eaten there and its fishy. Not a good aftertaste right now... Also, need to have bigger plates. Not much room to put ketchup on the plate.

James Mischler My visits to Flying Heart have always been great! I go about once a month, and the food, service, and atmosphere are excellent! On my most recent visit, I showed the wait person, Ember, a photo of a pizza I had there a few months ago (I didn’t remember its name). She figured it out, and I had the Cajun pizza and its savory sauce, called Gris Gris. I also had a side salad—so big it could be a meal by itself. They also have a good selection of drinks. Overall, the food was good, Ember was attentive and constantly checked to see how I was doing, and the atmosphere was relaxed. As always, I had a great time. I highly recommend Flying Heart Brewing and Pub!

Judi Boyd Wow! A diamond in the middle of nowhere. A great selection of seafood and everything I ate appeared to be homemade! Boudin balls were delicious and some of the best turnip greens Ive ever eaten. The dessert bar had so many good things to offer but no room to eat but a bite after the huge meal offerings. On Thursdays the cost is $20 but on Friday and Saturday it is $26.50 and worth every penny! Made for a fantastic destination adventure.

Carl Sartori Happened to stumble upon Smitty’s due to a Google search from the highway. Stopped by initially for take out, but decided to stay due to the amazing hospitality. Enjoyed and split a delicious fish po’boy and shrimp po’boy, and some sweet tea. First time in Louisiana, but won’t be the last! Looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommended!!
