5 /5 Lehua Okalani: Pat’s of Henderson. I’ve been a fan since I was a girl. NOLA born but living out of state. Mama brought me home to Louisiana. I was amazed. I still am. THIS Pat’s brings a bit of New Orleans glamor to SW Louisiana. And the food hasn’t changed a bit. It’s still old South Louisiana school delicious. Something for everyone seafood, salads, chicken, steaks. Wine and drinks list is extensive and very well thought out. The service is stellar. James took care of me tonight, the most attentive service I’ve had in a long time. If you’re in Lake Charles check them out. You’ll be glad you did. I promise. And ask for an off the menu, root beer float. You’ll get it. With a smile.

5 /5 Kasia Trepagnier: My mother and I visited this restaurant recently, and everything was great! We were warmly greeted when we walked in, seated right away, and our food came out delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service overall was very good. The only thing that stood out was when we asked our waiter for the lunch menu, he asked us why the hostess didn’t give it to us when we walked in. We weren’t sure how to answer that and told him that’s something the hostess would have to explain, not us. Other than that small moment, everything was excellent! The service, food, and atmosphere were all very enjoyable. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back again soon.

5 /5 Tammy: Exceptional Seafood & Service at Pat’s of Henderson Stopped in Lake Charles to check on my property and decided to take my mom to lunch—so glad we chose Pat’s of Henderson. From the moment we arrived, our maitre’d Salvador (from NYC) made us feel like VIPs. His service was warm, attentive, and truly exceptional. I started with the boiled crab claws—packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. For entrées, I had the stuffed red snapper and my mom enjoyed the stuffed flounder. Both were fresh, rich, and beautifully prepared. We finished with the sweet potato casserole, which was the perfect sweet ending. From the food to the ambiance to the attentive service, everything was above par. I highly recommend Pat’s of Henderson to anyone passing through or living nearby. And if you’re lucky enough to be served by Salvador, you’re in for an unforgettable dining experience.

4 /5 Patti Adams: We visited Pats of Henderson for my grandbaby birthday. The grounds of the restaurant including the inside of the restaurant was a clean and pristine as always. First thing I notices is It was much more crowded than usual. Daniel was our waiter, and we started off a bit rough as he seemed to be nervous serving us; wasted water on table and on floor and left it there. When I returned to my seat, I kindly ask him to clean up both as the water on the floor was a tripping hazard and the water on the table went all over my menu, resulting in it spilling on me when I went to review what I wanted to eat. In addition, it took a very very long time to serve us, and when we got our food, I was given fries instead of a fully loaded baked potato. However, things got better with the service as the day went on and, in the end, Daniel even apologized for the extremely slow service. Our wait time was 38 minutes. Our total time at the 2 hours and 96 minutes. Anyways Dana the manager came by our table and was super super nice asking us if we needed anything. My sister friend surprised me when she said, “yes can you get me some mayonnaise for my onion rings”. Even with this bizarre request Dana just smiled and said certainly I will, we also asked for some paper napkins to place under glasses and for some straws. Dana arrived back at table with a big smile and everything we had asked for. So, the big question is will I return…perhaps. But at this time cannot make any promises. Even the food was not as delightful as it has been in the past, so perhaps an awkward day all the way around.

5 /5 Mandie Trahan: Friday night was my anniversary and we decided to finally try Pats of Henderson. I went online and reserved a table. We went and done an art project at another place and it was running late, so I moved our reservation. We finished earlier than we assumed. We arrived 25 minutes before our reservation and we were seated promptly at a corner table. This place is so elegant. We were greeted by a server very quickly and our waters were filled. I ordered a southern sangria and it was great. My husband ordered a dos xx. We ordered one crab cake. Which was one of the BEST ones we have ever had. This crab cake was not full of filler and breading. It was full of crab. I ordered a shrimp and catfish dinner with a wedge salad and a baked potato. My husband ordered the risotto with a salad and asparagus. I noticed another table had French bread so I asked our waiter for some. It came out and was great. I then ordered a skinny chocolate martini. It threw me off because its clear. But it was phenomenal. We received our food and we did not receive our salads. I waved down our waiter, Tristan, and he got to working on it and apologized. Would food was great. My husband bragged about how good the risotto was, I tried it, but Im not a huge fan. But I think its a texture issue for me. My shrimp was cooked perfectly. The fish had a great batter. But that wedge salad! OooOo it was perfect. Just wish I would have received it prior to our meal. We ordered a chocolate lava cake. Our waiter tried to offer to purchase it since the salads were not delivered. I would not let him The chocolate lava cake was great. Back in 2019 we received a giftcard for Pat of Henderson. Then covid hit and i was pregnant, so we didnt go eat. Then the hurricanes hit and it was destroyed. We have small kids and we dont get many nights out. We attempted to use our giftcard and our waiter told me he couldnt do it due to how many numbers are on the back. The manager did not come over to discuss it, but we just paid for the full total and left with our Togo box. Im sad that our giftcard could not be used. Will we go back, yes, but not for a while. Everything was great except for the salads not coming out before the meal, how long it took for our food to come out, and that we werent able to use the giftcard.
