Travis Wheat Traveling from Houston to Port Fourchon and had to take a break. I decided to stop here with many options and I’m glad I did. The ladies working here today (Sunday 3-27-2022) were so attentive and welcoming. It was like being at home. No judgment or attitude, just smile’s and service. I’d be proud to live in Franklin. These people are a cut above.

andie ingram When I say I eat Mexican food often, I truly do. SO, Ive had a lot to compare this place to! It was hands down the absolute best Mexican food Ive ever had. Cooked to perfection. Huge serving. Great waitress. Highly recommend. Im from Missouri but plan a trip back to the area in February and will definitely stop here again!!!

GK Me Curbside area (waiting on delivery) is not exactly the safest-feeling area at night (after dark). People hanging around the curb area where you wait for your order. Neither does it seem a safe idea, to me, for the servers who deliver the food curbside. Cant say about daylight hours. I visited at night. I would not recommend this particular Raisin Canes to travelers night or day. Drive on a little farther north or south on I-49. Be safe.

Mrs S Robinson Hold up…I am so impressed not only with the food but the kind staff. This plate was packed with so much flavor! The grilled fish was cooked perfectly and there was so many large grilled shrimp. The coleslaw was different than I’ve had at other establishments. Compliments on the flavor! So glad the staff recommended the curly fries over the onion rings even though he said that was hard to choose but hand battered fresh is a win for me! Can’t wait to go back!

Love Delia Delicious Local Favorite A “Must Visit” when in Bastrop, Louisiana!! This staple establishment has beckoned people from all walks of life and all locations as well. Quietly tucked away, down the street from the courthouse, is an absolutely delightful food option for foodies and customers alike. Unmarked, yet unmistakable, The Fish Market in Bastrop Louisiana is easy to find. The petite building is short and cozy in size. There are plenty of seats to accommodate the parking lot, and also have the cutest decoration around the market. Fresh & cooked fish are sold here. The young staff members were warm and helpful, taking many orders simultaneously and keeping the steady line moving. Today I purchased a children’s meal. Three pieces of fish and two sides. All in all I would definitely recommend and revisit this market. The Fish Market ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars
