SHUCKS! - (Near Abbeville, LA)

Angel Clifton Im in town to visit family, and have been visiting as many of the local Cajun restaurants as I can. This little place is a gem!!! Hands down the best fried crawfish tails Ive ever had! The boudin balls were delicious as well, but the crawfish was absolutely phenomenal. The breading is so light and so crispy, and the homemade dipping sauce was the perfect pairing. 10/10 recommend, will be back!

Chuck Barker One of my best BBQ spots in Leesville. Food is great. Love the sticky bones (ribs). Staff is awesome and friendly. Prices are good. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves some good ole BBQ.

bry bry I loved the atmosphere here. It’s a small but well kept upscale dining room. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had the stuffed pork chop which was more like two pork tenderloin chops sandwiching this wonderful stuffing. Totally not what I was expecting but it was a big bang of a surprise eating it. It was wonderful! And that sauce, so good. The potatoes were cooked well like I like them, they had a nice crunch. And the corn grits were a great addition. The owner came over and asked how I liked things and was very nice. We had a great conversation like we knew each other from long ago. Everyone here was no pleasant. I wish it wasn’t so far away from me it would be a go to place for me or when I want to impress friends. It is definitely on my list of places to return to so when I’m in town I will try my best to come back. Give this place a try it’s definitely a winner!

Malinda Butler We were greeted and seated in little to no time around 4:30-5:00 on a weekend. I ordered stuffed catfished and onion rings, and both were phenomenal! Our waitress was the best— very attentive to our needs, friendly, and knowledgeable! We were very pleased with our experience! Atmosphere was great— dress up or come in shorts or blue jeans! They also have pick up and delivery for locals, plus fresh and frozen food to reheat or cook at home- great entrees and desserts!

Ray I asked the front desk at my hotel for a recommendation and they recommended Orlandeauxs Cafe. Im extremely glad I made the choice to come here. It was Friday night and it was busy but they are well staffed and I didnt have to wait long to order or for my food. I ordered the crawfish étoufeé and it was delicious. The roueax had amazing flavor and it was packed with vegetables and crawfish. The dish also had plenty of spice. If I am ever in the area again I will for sure come back.
