SLABS BBQ - (Near Roseland, LA)

Bailey Tisdale Was in BR for 3 days visiting my family and ate here ALL 3 days. Absolutely incredible!! Over the course of 3 days we got crawfish queso (every single time this was def the best and got toasted bread with it), chicken pot pie, seafood pot pie, fried shrimp plate, crawfish hand pie, fried chicken and red beans and rice and seafood bisque, blueberry hand pie with lemon glaze (got this every single time)….1. Crawfish queso is an absolute must. 2. Seafood pot pie has got to be the best entree on the menu 3. Even if you don’t like pie you must get the blueberry fried pie….top 3 dessert i’ve ever had. The chicken pot pie was a strong runner up and i got parmesan potatos. The fried chicken and red beans were just that, nothing great. Crawfish hand pie was least fave. Loooooove this place will be back and tell everyone to come!

brice calzaretta One of my favorite parts of visiting my family in Natchitoches is the meat pies. The Mini meat pies here i would give a 9.3/10. The crust was nice and flaky and the meat was perfectly seasoned with just a little kick. I tried the sauce they come with but prefer them plain. My steak was cooked perfectly and tender all the way through with amazing buttery beef flavor. I did not have any room for dessert. Our waitress was attentive and checked in many times to make sure our drinks were filled and our food was correct.

johnny Shinnaberry When and only when everything is correct the food is good. Ill never go in person again and Ill only order from door dash from them because if they mess something up I can get my money back pretty instantaneously. Ive been to this location since 2022 with my friends as it was a regular spot for us until recently. The workers and management have zero respect for human life. Its like everyone who sets foot in there is instantly made out to be a nail in their shoe. Ordering in person is terrible, ordering on the phone is terrible, they practically throw the bag at you, the cooks take their sweetest time doing everything including back to back cigarette breaks. If they do something wrong its not "oh lets fix it" its will give you your money back but were done helping you. I dont know of many restaurants I can reasonably say making six pieces of chicken wings takes an hour but they somehow are top of the list. You can go to Texas Roadhouse order, eat a appetizer, and your dinner and walk out before this Wingstop makes six wings.

Peter Moore We went for brunch and it was wonderful. We sat outside because it was a nice day, they had live music inside that they were piping to the outdoor seating. Our waitress was very well informed and also patient as we tried to narrow down the menu. I was very happy with my decision but will be back soon to try more of their creations!

Bryan Rongstad I had a cup of seafood and the seafood nachos. Both were very good. I also bought some peanut butter fudge to take home which is also good. Its not too sweet and sits well on your pallet. I could see people eating stuffed potatoes which I definitely want to come back and try. They did have included charges for using credit cards. Definitely going back.

Nikki Kitko Fiance and I came here for a late lunch after exploring City Park, and absolutely loved our experience here! Our Lyft dropped us off, and this place looked PACKED! I was nervous that wed be waiting awhile, as some parties were seated on benches out front, so we walked in to assess what the wait time might be. To our surprise, there were a few seats open at the bar, so we squeezed in and started with some strong margaritas! Probably one of the best during our NOLA trip! We also had the charbroiled oysters which were on their happy hour specials so that was nice! They were soooo delicious!!! We both chose the Redfish which was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked! The summer squash it came with was also tasty! Despite them being slammed with guests (always a good indicator that the food is gonna be good!!!) we still had wonderful service. Happy we came here!!!
