5 /5 Jordee York: I had the opportunity to try this joint yesterday, and man O man, the food was AMAZING!! I got the 4 wing plate with two sides and a cornbread. The fries snuck up on me cause I didnt know they were included as well. The wings were hot, fresh, crunchy, and seasoned well. The beans were really good. The Mac N Cheese was superb!! The fries were hot and seasoned well, and the cornbread was good as well. I was actually really impressed and the lady that took my order was really nice. She also told me Happy New Year when she brought my order! The atmosphere was pretty chill and was quiet when I was there! Give this place a try Lafayette!!!!

5 /5 Jason Contreras: Im in Lafayette for work, coming from Houston. I asked a friend (local) to recommend a restaurant that I could get some good quick food from and she recommended this spot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a woman named Ms Misty. She had a wonderful smile and welcoming presence to her. I let her know that Im in from out of town and asked her to order for me. She ordered me gumbo with sides of potato salad and mac and cheese. This food is absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese is cheesy with some sort of a cajun spice to it and the gumbo flavor is absolutely flawless. It has sausage and chicken and it could not be better for this cold day. I will absolutely come back to this restaurant when I visit town again.

5 /5 Tabitha Beverly: My Family and I went here a day before Christmas and the service was amazing. The food was incredible. Customer service phenomenal. I loved the atmosphere. They had Christmas decorations, music and a big snowman. The Lady who took our order was the kindest soul ever. She shared with us the history on the restaurant. Best experience ever. Hands down best soul food.

5 /5 Life is Roblox: Got the Yakamein. It was incredible. As a Nola resident, this felt like home and made my heart happy. Amazing balance of flavors. Cannot beat the price!! Less than $20 for beef, shrimp, and crab??? Unheard of!! Show this place some love.
