5 /5 Foodie Cat: My daughter and son in law stopped by here recently on their way to a new camp they purchased. They were very impressed with the friendliness of everyone and the awesome food choices.
This was our first trip down this way, so we had to stop,too, and check it out !
This is not a huge town, but the parking lot was FULL when we got here - about 1 in the afternoon.
When we walked inside - after taking pics of the cool exterior paintings - the restaurant area was full with happy customers.
Its a small place in the side of the road, but sure is huge in hospitality and warmth.
The menu has a good selection of good, Cajun dishes.
One half of the store is the restaurant, the other is your convenience store items you might need - cold drinks, chips, etc...
They have a freezer by the check out of you need a dish to go. We didnt want to show up empty handed so we picked up some shrimp and crab gumbo - they even have precooked rice so you dont have to worry about that.
Do you like PECAN PIE...?? Stop by and get you one ! There is a selection of other pastries, brownies for one, and a few other choices.
