Foodie Cat My daughter and son in law stopped by here recently on their way to a new camp they purchased. They were very impressed with the friendliness of everyone and the awesome food choices. This was our first trip down this way, so we had to stop,too, and check it out ! This is not a huge town, but the parking lot was FULL when we got here - about 1 in the afternoon. When we walked inside - after taking pics of the cool exterior paintings - the restaurant area was full with happy customers. Its a small place in the side of the road, but sure is huge in hospitality and warmth. The menu has a good selection of good, Cajun dishes. One half of the store is the restaurant, the other is your convenience store items you might need - cold drinks, chips, etc... They have a freezer by the check out of you need a dish to go. We didnt want to show up empty handed so we picked up some shrimp and crab gumbo - they even have precooked rice so you dont have to worry about that. Do you like PECAN PIE...?? Stop by and get you one ! There is a selection of other pastries, brownies for one, and a few other choices. Def stop by if you are passing thru !

Brenton Riggs Everything was delicious, prices were fair, and the service and atmosphere were optimal. We will definitely be back again soon! I also want to add, the jalapeño roll is like the Japanese equivalent to a popper, and they are amazing.

Special thanks to The Pearl staff and the owner for their kindness and graciousness shown towards our Wounded Warriors. The reservation process was so easy and effortless. Johnson Warwick If youre ever going through Jennings, you should try Mikes seafood restaurant. I had the stuffed catfish and my wife had the gourmet burger. Both were amazing! The burgers bun is a jalapeño sour dough bun with a hint of sweetness. Excellent choice. Also the onion rings and mushrooms come in huge portions as Appetizers. Great place!

Ray I asked the front desk at my hotel for a recommendation and they recommended Orlandeauxs Cafe. Im extremely glad I made the choice to come here. It was Friday night and it was busy but they are well staffed and I didnt have to wait long to order or for my food. I ordered the crawfish étoufeé and it was delicious. The roueax had amazing flavor and it was packed with vegetables and crawfish. The dish also had plenty of spice. If I am ever in the area again I will for sure come back.
