JL (BeyondBookends) Pretty authentic Taiwanese dishes and bubble teas in a fast casual setting (most dishes were disposable). You can order at counter or via kiosk but everything took a while to arrive. Dishes were tasty though and unbelievably affordable (noodles without protein were about $7 and most dishes with protein were $10-15 range) and you can get a combo meal that comes with a drink. Will go back again and try the Taiwanese popcorn chicken and other noodles/rice bowls. If you are a manga fan there are manga you can read while you wait for your food!

Each dish is crafted with care, beautifully presented, and full of flavor—striking the balance between creativity and comfort. You can tell the ingredients are top-notch, and the menu reflects both skill and imagination. We had blue steel focaccia, sauté de cossi and meatballs to start: just perfect. Next we had a round of pasta dishes, once again: excellent. Cocktails are layered and complex: Viale, Martini and Vecchio Stile- AMAZING. And dessert: we had Delizia Di Limone: delectable sphere of delicate lemon cream contrasting with sugar cookie base- again, AMAZING. Perfect place for special occasion or gathering with your friends, or if you simply want to portal into the bliss of a sparkling seaside, where elegance, romance, and wonder all flow together like the tide.
