Chick N Slice - (Near Warren, MI)

Trina K. I am visiting Michigan and did a drive from Detroit to Grand Rapids. I did a Google search for lunch spots along my way and Eastside Fish Fry and Grill was one of my selections. This place has been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. So, why not give it a try. I am so happy I did!!! This place is a "dive" and you may want to keep driving, but dont. All Staff that I encountered were pleasant and welcoming. They stayed busy while I was there. Seating is limited, but a lot of customers take their order to go. Now, lets get to the food. I ordered the fried catfish with fried macaroni and cheese bites and fried Oreos. The very first bite of the fish received an "Oh My God!" It was sooo good!! The macaroni and cheese bites were good, but filling. I wanted to definitely finish my fish. So, I took the oreos to go to snack on the road. Thank you fellas, I really enjoyed my lunch.

E This experience actually blew my mind. The entire ambiance was so calming and chill. I loved the light instrumental music, the set up of the booths, how efficient the process to order is. All water, utensils, napkins, etc are self serve. WHICH I LOVE

Mimi Chavez Went here for my daughter’s last minute bday dinner. They had great customer service. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The manager even came over w couple times to check in and also let her know she gave us a deal when we didn’t even ask for one. Food was out fast too. Would highly recommend.

Gina Marra Really enjoyed my breakfast here. Love trying new places and I was not disappointed. Got a table very fast and was sat with drink ordered taken. The waitresses were very attentive and kind. My fiance ordered the bonfire latte off their limited time menu (vanilla, toasted marshallmellow, broen sugar & cinnamon) which looked amazing. I however went for a tea w/ side lemon and honey. For our breakfast food I chose the lemon curd Blueberry pancakes. They were so delicious and not overly sweet which I was a little nervous about at 1st but was super amazed by the flavor. I would definitely get this again and for sure I would suggest giving them a try! My fiance ordered the forked up breakfast sammy. He enjoyed it but he said hes had better. The potatoes however looked like they were overdone but by surprise they were so soft and fluffy inside! I will be returning to try other items on their menu soon.

YK Mahi W Chilis. Love their triple dipper and chicken enchilada soup. Service was good and the wait time was shorter than expected. Food came out quickly and everything went pretty smoothly.

Ernie Anastas A Detroit classic in the Burbs. The same great pizza and salads in Warren. The restaurant is big enough to host a large party of family and friends but small enough to seat a table of 1. A small bar to belly up to as well with some unique drinks as well as their own labeled beer!
