Crafty Crab Allen Park - (Near Allen Park, MI)

Royshawn Sessum My wife and I visited Lumen for a quick brunch before the Detroit Lions game. The food was absolutely amazing. we had zero complaints! We ordered the French toast, shrimp & grits, and huevos rancheros, and ate every single bite. We also each had a drink (a beer and a cocktail), which was the perfect way to start the day. We were greeted right away by our server, Skylar, who did an excellent job explaining the menu, sharing her favorite items, and making us feel welcome. She was friendly, attentive, and very timely with all our requests. My only small critique is that the floor was still wet from mopping (I assume), and there weren’t any “wet floor” signs visible. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish and we’ll definitely be back!

Gina Mistura My fiancé and I have been going to Big O’s for a while, and we’ve always left happy. We checked out the new location this weekend, and it’s looking great so far—they even mentioned plans for live entertainment and a full bar, which will be exciting to see. Some reviews say the meat is plain, but that’s missing the point: it’s cooked so tender it practically melts in your mouth, and the three barbecue sauces take it to the next level. The fries are incredible, and the pulled pork and burgers have been excellent every time we’ve ordered them. If I had one critique, it’s that the menu doesn’t always list everything they offer. That’s actually how we discovered their warm, cakey cornbread—we overheard someone order it once, and now it’s a must-have for us every visit. It feels like a hidden gem, but it’s way too good to keep secret!

Haisma Jamie The drinks and food were delicious, each course was better than the last. The greeters wished us a happy anniversary when we arrived as well as our server Andi. He went above and beyond to make us feel special and even surprised us with a slice of chocolate cake and a candle with our desserts. It was our first time coming to the restaurant and we plan to spend every anniversary here in the future.

Julie Rowse An impromptu boat ride with friends lead us here for dinner. With no idea of what to expect, our first impression was excellent. Our server was great, our food was delicious, docking the boat was super easy and convenient and the atmosphere was awesome!

Khalif Griffin The food is very top tier meaning it is not coming from a corporate kitchen. Everything they use is fresh. Made to order ingredients sourced from the state of Michigan. Everything from a starter to a main course to their cocktails. The whole staff and Miss Lexi are outstanding. My first experience there now will be for for forever experience. The food was so good. My first time coming in I came in the next day. This woman and the whole team outdo themselves. If you like real good food. Do not cheat yourself. Treat yourself.

Gee H So delicious! Honestly, everything on the menu is amazing. They really have something for everyone, with vegan options, halal options and celiac-friendly dishes. My personal favorites are the drunken noodles and the gang garee, but you really can’t go wrong with anything. It’s become my weekly treat, and the staff always makes the experience even better with their warm and friendly service. Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again!
