2luisjimenez Great AUTHENTIC Mexican food! The beans were delicious and creamy. Tacos Al pastor and carne asada were great tasting and traditionally served. Margaritas are very good too. I will be back!

Lindsay Gottschalk SheWolf has been a highly anticipated place on my downtown foodie list and after my first visit last night all I can do is rave about this iconic Detroit gem! I was completely mesmerized by the unique culinary transformation of the tasting menu, stellar service, and intimate, chic-modern vibe. Our table was even wiped down in between every course which completely elevated the fine dining experience. Some of the menu rotates seasonally, their house-made pasta is uniquely shaped, and you can see the chefs putting their craft together with the open window kitchen concept. The flavors and plate presentation are thoughtfully executed and the 5 course tasting gives generous samples of several menu items. An indulgence, but truly worth it for a first visit; we were full before dessert! The highlights for us were the Brussels salad and Agnolotti del pain, and you absolutely cannot leave without finishing your meal with their creamy, dreamy pistachio gelato. Every staff member was wonderful but a special thank you to our server, Cassandra, who was a delight and made our experience so memorable. She was friendly, attentive, and really helpful with the layout of the menu options. I look forward to our return and to try their new restaurant, Medusa!

Kimberly Massa The place is so cozy, artistic, and welcoming. The food was so good (specially the bread) and the service was phenomenal. We were a group of 16 that crashed without a reservation and they accommodated us and served us so warmly. Special recognition to the waitress, Agnes for walking us through the menu, the beautiful art, and the story of the place. Definitely a hidden gem in AA.

Andre Alyass Our experience at Shiangmi Chinese Fine Dining was great! We had a number of delicious dishes and great service. Our waitress went above and beyond to help us celebrate a birthday. The duck was the main star. Crispy skin, tender duck, rolled in a flat pancake with onions, cucumbers and a savory sauce that resembled hoisin sauce. We also had cabbage stuffed with minced meat. Pork and peppers, green beans and egg plant and the best fried rice I’ve ever had. All in all, this is not a budget friendly meal. You can get food of the same quality for a quarter of the price. This place is perfect for a special occasion or if you are in the tax bracket where you can afford it regularly.

Way Zay My bf loves this place, and he brought me for my first time. I am really impressed with the food and service. Better than your typical bar food. I absolutely loved the french onion soup, its gotta be the best Ive had at a restaurant. Made with beer, but the ratio of cheese, onions and bread is perfect! I had their square pizza which was like a upgraded jets. Fries are the perfect crispiness too. We got our food relatively quickly on a busy night. Piping hot too.

Jules C Love this place! The food is both delicious and filling. Love the baskets of rye bread and plate of pickles you get for dining in. Their sandwiches are excellent and piled high, and they have a huge menu selection that also offers soups, breakfast, and salads. I ordered a bologna sandwich that had lots of layers of think sliced bologna and asked for a fried egg on top. Was more than enough and took home leftovers! The employees are always so welcome and friendly, and regularly check to make sure you are ok. Has a warm and friendly atmosphere!
