Julie Rowse An impromptu boat ride with friends lead us here for dinner. With no idea of what to expect, our first impression was excellent. Our server was great, our food was delicious, docking the boat was super easy and convenient and the atmosphere was awesome!

nworb2022 Absolutely fantastic! Our group of four visited on what seemed to be a bustling Saturday night. With homecoming and birthday celebrations happening all around, the staff at 5th was exceptionally impressive in handling it all! Perhaps our food order was placed before the arrival of those larger groups, but we enjoyed remarkable dishes, including some of the best salmon weve ever had (no unpleasant fishy taste or dry salmon here). A big shout-out to 5th Tavern for delivering outstanding food and seamless service. We will definitely return. The dishes pictured include the Thai chicken salad, chipotle BBQ burger, and cedar plank Scottish salmon.

Angela Penrose I love this restaurant, and our family enjoys coming on special occasion, and the food is always fantastic, and the service is always just wonderful. We had my father in laws funeral luncheon here this past weekend and everything was incredible. The service, the room, the food, our main waitress was sweet as can be, and the guys helping her were great. I cannot say enough about how wonderful everything was. My sisters and I went to school with some of the Picano kids (Chrissy) and we have always loved and supported this restaurant and we will continue to.

Divine Smith From the moment I walked into Ichiban until the moment I walked out, everything was absolutely amazing. The staff members went above and beyond to make sure my family had a wonderful experience. General Manager Maddie was truly wonderful warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. Our server Koby was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. The chef was outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure the kids had a fun and exciting experience at the table. It was my nephew’s first hibachi experience and he was mind blown. The food was the best I’ve had fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite was delicious! The restaurant was also very clean and had a family-friendly environment, which made the experience even better. I will definitely be visiting again very soon!

Breakfast Club of Novi - Novi

Isabella Figueroa Ended up going in on a Sunday afternoon, was nervous about it being too busy but thankfully got seated quickly! Staff seems to be very friendly and staying on top of cleaning so no empty table is kept dirty and can be filled in. Ordered the banana Nutella pancakes, was worried they’d be too sweet or would have to take leftovers home but surprisingly not! Just enough sweetness from the Nutella and the banana slices were just enough. The portion for the pancakes were perfect, I was able to finish them. Got a simple iced mocha latte which was pretty good too for someone who doesn’t drink much coffee at restaurants. You also got a free chocolate covered strawberry with your check which I thought was very cute. Overall it’s a good place for either breakfast or brunch, will definitely be coming back!

Will Bonam Incredible Date Night! My girlfriend and I came into San Jose Mexican Bar & Grill for dinner and were blown away. We are locals in Waterford and decided to dine in, and I’m glad we did. First off, the drinks are serious business here. We ordered a Piña Colada and a Jumbo House Margarita (I highly recommend adding the Coconut flavor like we did—it adds a great tropical twist). They were huge, refreshing, and definitely didnt skimp on the alcohol. For food, we ordered two main dishes that I have to rave about: Birria Jalisco: If you are looking for authentic flavor, this is it. The meat was slow-cooked to perfection—super tender and juicy. It came with the consommé for dipping which was rich, spicy, and deeply savory. Ribeye Chicharron: This was a standout. It’s ribeye steak chunks but cooked with that chicharron-style crispiness on the outside while staying tender on the inside. The seasoning was spot on. The bill was very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the cuts. We left stuffed and will definitely be coming back!
