Divine Smith From the moment I walked into Ichiban until the moment I walked out, everything was absolutely amazing. The staff members went above and beyond to make sure my family had a wonderful experience. General Manager Maddie was truly wonderful warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. Our server Koby was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. The chef was outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure the kids had a fun and exciting experience at the table. It was my nephew’s first hibachi experience and he was mind blown. The food was the best I’ve had fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite was delicious! The restaurant was also very clean and had a family-friendly environment, which made the experience even better. I will definitely be visiting again very soon!

Zophael Ray Every time I come here, I leave very full and happy. The Brasserie Burger is a favorite, as well as their pot de crème, but my absolute must-have every time is the clam chowder. I always get a pint to take home with me for later. The restaurant itself accurately portrays a tavern atmosphere. If you’re in Royal Oak, definitely give it a try.

Amanda Smith Chubbys is a great casual eatery with lots of delicious choices for food and a well stocked bar to satisfy any taste. They have lots of natural light that makes the space feel open, and the decor is interesting and fun. The staff is friendly and prompt and we felt well attended to during our meal. Prices are middle of the road, but you get a good amount of food for the price. This place is perfect for family or friend gatherings or trivia night. We will definitely be back!
