3 /5 Aida Brown: I really wanted to like this place, it’s a block away from my job. It’s new, clean and orderly. There are only 2 tables with chairs for now so the focus seems to be carry out. It appeared that there is work being done next store so maybe more of a full service restaurant is in the future. I walked in with a gentleman that said their food is really good, I let him go first so I could look the menu over. I settled on a Nacho with the description of loaded cheese, lettuce, Pico de Gallo jalapeños and sour cream. What I got were chips swimming in queso and sour cream, covered in shredded lettuce and some cut up tomatoes sprinkled about. The person preparing the food was also taking orders, her attitude was brusque and short. There was an older gentleman there just standing around. I know the restaurant business is difficult and I sympathize, maybe someone called off, maybe they run like this all the time. But when I asked for napkins and silverware the heavy sigh and the slight eye roll wasn’t necessary but as I walked to my car I said to myself after seeing the food she brought to the customer who ordered before me, if mines looks that good and is enjoyable I would probably let the bad service go and give another chance, but I got neither.
