Westland Family Dining - (Near Westland, MI)

2 /5 Pamela Hufnagel: Ordered 2 steak stir frys without rice and light sauce and asked fot steak to be cooked medium rare. Both meals had alot of sauce and the steak was too tough to chew. The cow begged to die. We took 2 bites and called the waitress. Told her our steak stir fry meals were tough enough to break a tooth and too much sauce. Asked to return meals and replace for chicken stir fry. The waitress said they would have to charge us for both meals. We never heard of such an unfair policy at a restaurant. The waitress even said if we didnt pay for the 2 steak stir fry meals she would be charged. We ended up paying around $70 for 4 meals, of which 2 were not eaten! We have been faithful to this restaurant since they opened. The staff and food has always been good, but this experience was unacceptable.

5 /5 Armin Shakry: Im surpised why we do not come here more often. Weve been here at least 15 times in 3 years and its always been good and not as expensive as most family restaurants. Below are the pics of the main course. Plus 2 Fries, 3 desserts, cup of soup and a basket of bread and butter. All for a grand total of 54 dollars. Im glad its not far from where I live.

5 /5 E M: There is nowhere in the entire universe youre ever going to beat these prices. The prices , plus the food quality are absolutely golden. Every worker in Westland Family Dining was courteous thoughtful, mindful and possessed great mannerisms. I am ecstatic to have found this establishment to dine in . There were maybe 4 people in line in front of me and every customer was greeted properly and treated with care ! I also enjoy my meal I didnt expect the food to be so hearty and hefty. I will be back to this place plenty more times . Thank you for everything

Milson CCHt: We stopped in for lunch on Sunday as we were in the mood for some food and were let down by a hot dog place nearby that was supposed to be open but wasnt, and I was really in the mood for a good hot dog. We called to make sure they were open before we headed out that way and the person on the phone was a little bit abrupt and hung up rather quickly. When we arrived the atmosphere was nice it wasnt too busy and we were seated really quickly in a nice booth. The staff were very attentive to getting our order quickly and making sure we had everything we needed. They gave us a kids menu which kind of just looked like a small scaled-down version of the real menu and a little pamphlet. Not the typical coloring page kids menu that some restaurants have. My wife ordered the chicken tenders meal which came with a nice basket containing different crackers and some really nice soft fluffy fresh tasting bread and butter, and she got some really hot crispy fries with her meal. The hot dogs myself and my daughter ordered were okay, nothing too special just average cheap hot dogs, but the buns were kind of hard and a little bit chewy, like they were stale or had been sitting out for a while. The fries I got were also a little on the softer, less well done, side compared to the nice crispy ones my wife got. The service was really good though, and all the staff were very polite and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Cashing out after our meal was quick and easy. All in all I would say this was a great restaurant and well definitely be back next time were in the area.

4 /5 Jonathan: Came at dinner, got breakfast. Just finished at the gym and was needing some dinner. My friend and I stopped in on a Monday around 7p and were greeted at the door and were told to seat ourselves. Water arrived promptly and our order was taken within a few minutes. We both ordered Greek skillets and a side coney dog for an appetizer, because a three egg skillet just ain’t enough. Food was fantastic, a good sized portion and came fast! Our server was very attentive and brought extra waters as she could tell we were thirty having just came from the gym. The atmosphere is what it is. Place needs some love on the interior, maybe some paint, some new tables. Booths are a little worn and tables show visible signs of years of patronage. Go to Anna’s house if you want decor and overpriced food is my take. Overall this place hits right and I don’t care what the tables look or feel like as long as the service and food are consistently as good as it was tonight.
