4 /5 Michael D. Milson CCHt: We stopped in for lunch on Sunday as we were in the mood for some food and were let down by a hot dog place nearby that was supposed to be open but wasnt, and I was really in the mood for a good hot dog.
We called to make sure they were open before we headed out that way and the person on the phone was a little bit abrupt and hung up rather quickly.
When we arrived the atmosphere was nice it wasnt too busy and we were seated really quickly in a nice booth.
The staff were very attentive to getting our order quickly and making sure we had everything we needed.
They gave us a kids menu which kind of just looked like a small scaled-down version of the real menu and a little pamphlet. Not the typical coloring page kids menu that some restaurants have.
My wife ordered the chicken tenders meal which came with a nice basket containing different crackers and some really nice soft fluffy fresh tasting bread and butter, and she got some really hot crispy fries with her meal.
The hot dogs myself and my daughter ordered were okay, nothing too special just average cheap hot dogs, but the buns were kind of hard and a little bit chewy, like they were stale or had been sitting out for a while.
The fries I got were also a little on the softer, less well done, side compared to the nice crispy ones my wife got.
The service was really good though, and all the staff were very polite and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.
Cashing out after our meal was quick and easy.
All in all I would say this was a great restaurant and well definitely be back next time were in the area.
