Zooroona Restaurant - (Near Kalamazoo, MI)

5 /5 Donna: My husband and I’s first time coming here and definitely not our last! The Mixed grill was top tier and the lentil soup was delicious! I’m picky about lentil soup but this one was great. The servers and the owner were all so kind. The host was extremely sweet and the restaurant itself felt like a true middle eastern restaurant. We were given Zeit and Zaatar right when we sat down which was lovely. The baklava was so tasty and fresh!

5 /5 Paige: Everything was fantastic, my only complaint is having not visited sooner. Highly recommend the baklawa cheese cake, mediterranean street fries, chili fry, and chicken shawarma wrap. All of the staff was wonderful and we loved the atmosphere, very cozy… hoping to come back and take advantage of one of the big corner booths with a larger group.

3 /5 Angel Girl: The food here is top notch Mediteranian fare. There are no complimentary starters, and hummus, pita,etc. have to be ordered in addition to most meals. House specialty drinks are very good. The platters are a nice way to get a little of many dishes. Service is usually ok, but a bit slower than at some restaurants. My most recent experience, I unfortunately waited over an hour for the entree, check backs were lengthy waits as well. As good as the food is, I am unsure that I want to experience this level of inattentiveness or error in the wait staff.

5 /5 Alyssa Dunn: Great spot with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The veggie appetizer platter was delicious and perfect for sharing, and the ginger martini was a standout. Attentive, friendly staff and really nice ambiance — we’ll definitely be back!
